I bought a Celestron telescope several months ago and have been happy with it so I wanted to give the binoculars a shot and am just as pleased with these as the telescope! I wanted them for a duel reasons; for simple prepper reasons but also for the gun range and have been so impressed with just using it on the gun range. Attached to my tripod easily and can see 150-200 yards clearly down range. Highly recommend!

These were a gift for my mother-in-law, and she *loves* them. They are a little cartoonishly big, and I find it difficult to focus them because any tiny movement is so magnified. But, my mother-in-law thinks they are the best binoculars ever, so I rated it a four.

I was in the market for some night vision binoculars. I searched and found these so i made the decision to buy because of the specs. It has incredible distance with zoom. It does videos with audio! It's amazing how you can not see a thing outside when it is pitch black and then when you put these binoculars in front of your face you can see ANYTHING!! All my friends were blown away when i took it over to the farm!

I received them yesterday tried them at once and was stunned by their build quality as well as clarity of vision.However by their nature they are heavy and need a tripod, even on a tripod they shake a little. In my experience with them and the price paid ($57) they are unbeatable. For terrestrial viewing they beat my Meade 200LX telescope which I use with an Orion Q70 eyepiece in clarity and detail.My advice is to buy them and mount it on an unused photo tripod permanently. I am still trying to understand how such an incredible piece of technology can be as inexpensive as a family lunch at McDonalds.

This is a BIG set of astronomy binoculars. The moon is unbelievable through them. You have no idea how many stars are in the sky until you look through these compared to the naked eye. You will need a tripod. These suckers are heavy.

Finally had a chance on a solstice night to play with these. These are funtastic and absolutely perfect with excellent viewing. My purpose for getting these is camping alone in the New Mexico wilderness, well alone with my dog... and attending Star Parties, with other astronomers in extremely dark, remote areas. I enjoy the night and am curious to see what walks around out there while the rest of us sleep. These binoculars give one the ability to see extremely well, almost as normal, in a pitch black environment. The fact that this model is a binocular and not monocular makes a big difference for me as it is important for me to see with both eyes. I find using one eye tiring and I like seeing depth. The viewing with night vision binoculars is of course different than normal everyday eye viewing and also different from normal binocular viewing, it is something to get used to. It took me a few minutes...I strongly suggest that the buyer read the instructions and understand how the instrument is made, how and why it works and especially that unlike regular binoculars, these don't magnify objects but give you a view in the dark similar to how you see normally. The view is green because that is the best colour for the human eye to see in, you will not see other colours, the image is a bit grainy which is normal. With these, I don't even have to turn the power on to see well in the dark! BUT with power and infrared on, WOW!Make sure you do not look at lights such as street light or headlights or any bright light source as it will hurt and you will be blinded for a while. You might even damage your binoculars if the light is bright and close! But do look up at the stars!!! you will see more than usual for your location. You will see clouds as bright patches. I find the weight of these binocular very comfortable. I usually find holding something up for a long time painful, but not these, they are quite light I find. They fit well in my small hands, the non slip covering is warm to the touch and well, are don't slipping! The eyepieces are comfortable, don't forget to learn how to focus from the booklet. Focus won't be absolutely perfect, because of the nature of night vision but it will be plenty adequate. Even the lanier is comfy around my neck. The case is well made and has an extra little pocket, and a soft cloth. To conclude, the money I spent was more than worth it! I always wanted a pair of night vision goggles, and will be using these binoculars extensively. I am thrilled with my purchase.

I purchased these for astronomy purposes and they have worked great. They are perfect for viewing objects that require a wider field of view, such as the Andromeda Galaxy and the Pleiades. I have had no trouble with these at all. The only downside is that they are a bit heavy, but I was aware of this when I purchased them. They come with an adapter and are easily placed on a tripod, so the weight really is not an issue. These are perfect for viewing the night sky, especially on those occasions where you are travelling or don't feel like setting up a telescope. These would be a perfect way to introduce someone to the hobby of Astronomy.
