This microphone is my first condenser microphone, and it’s great. When I’m live streaming, it sounds like I’m in a studio booth. The sound quality is great.

I was pleasantly surprised how high quality this was, it easily punches above its weight, sounding on-par with microphones in the $60-$70 range. It'll require a bit of setup, and doesn't come with any sort of mount that will make it usable with standard boom arms, but at the end of the day the most important thing with a microphone is the sound quality. Even with my small gripes, this is more than worth the asking price.

The price is great ($80) at time of review but what is amazing is the sound quality and versatility of this microphone. It includes a pop filter over the microphone which you can adjust to your liking.In USB mode, the gain controls on the mic work in both PS4/PS5/MacOS. I’ve tested with all three and very little to low noise even with gain on max. Microphone is perfect for PS4/PS5 online gaming but it does pick up external noises pretty easily. Turning down the gain does help quite a bit but still picks up some minor noises (keyboard clacking, mouse button clicks, etc). The audio is natural and works good during gaming.In USB mode under macOS Monterey, the microphone shows up as a fifine usb device. No drivers necessary just like for the ps4/ps5. You will have to turn up the gain, however, because the microphone needs to be amplified. I either need to be up about 1-2” at most to be able to decently get audio from the microphone otherwise I’d have to crank up my volume gain in my system. Obviously gets noisy if you crank all the gains up.I am not a musician or a sound engineer but I do use microphones for podcasting and audio recording and this microphone is GREAT when paired with an interface. I chose UA Volt 2 interface and it sounds wonderful. I did not even need to use a cloud filter the gain on my volt is at about 2-3’oclock and it’s loud enough. I really think this mic shines in terms of being good at both USB and XLR connection. When connected via XLR, all the usb functions are disabled (obviously). No phantom power is needed and the mic has very low noise. Teams, Skype, FaceTime all work via the interface and connected to this microphone and it’s great quality!You do not need to buy an SM7b just to do gaming/podcasts; microphones like this Fifine model are perfect and best of all you can use USB and if you want to step it up you can connect via XLR to an interface and the microphone really shines. For the price you pay and the quality build of this microphone, this is a really wonderful microphone. I have nothing but praises because it really surprised me; I expected some inferior quality at this price (because it’s dual interfaced) but the audio quality really surprised me. Yet you can also game with this microphone and use it for more professional audio recordings you get the best of both worlds. It gets expensive if you go with just an XLR dynamic microphone because you’d have to get all the other hardware but with microphone you have that option if you wanted to but at a later date.Overall this is really worthy of a 5-star rating. I will recommend this for any gamer and or more serious into audio recording - just make sure you get an interface it will really bring out the quality of this microphone. But again it’s the choice you get with this microphone!

I have a second home that I need to provide remote access to and this product works awesome. I installed it in less the 15 min and it works like a charm.. the door is unlocked as your approach the door using its Bluetooth technology, I can lock or unlock and verify the door has been opened or closed from anywhere. And it’s not bad looking either. If you want a simple and reliable solution this is for you.

For some reason I could not get a microphone/camera combination to work. I could get a great picture, but the microphone couldn't pick up. I have this "boom" microphone sitting on the computer base and it works with good volume. The base is relatively heavy, so it stays in place. I am pleased.

Measuring just under three inches in length it easily fits into any desktop or portable set up. It features a switch to choose between Cardiod, Omni and -10dB modes, a 3.5mm headphone socket and a USB socket. The most prominent feature of the Go was the clip which allows the microphone to stand up on a flat surface or be clipped to a monitor or laptop clamshell.Sound Quality:It's a microphone, so no doubt you will want to hear for yourselves how well it performs. Regardless of it being so small, it feels very solid in the hand and that gives it a very premium feel. It has plug and play compatibility with Windows and Mac so all you need is the two-metre USB cable supplied. You will be able to plug the mic into almost any machine and start recording right away!I found the balance of sound quality with price exceptional. For just over thirty pounds there is no microphone that rivals the Samson Go. Stepping up from conventional built-in mics I have been thoroughly impressed with the Go.My primary use for the mic is YouTube video voice-overs for which the microphone works very well. Sound is very crisp, clear and background noise is easily removed using the Cardiod or -10dB mode. I imagine this mic is also well suited to group podcasts and recordings too as the Omni mode does a very good job of picking up sound from all directions.

I bought this microphone to help me record fitness videos. It works quite well. If you are searching for an affordable small microphone, buy this one!
