Great little kit
Great little kit. The lens hood doesn't fit over the filter so if you have the UV filter on just to protect the lens you don't have a lens hood. I use this lens for portraits so that is fine, I got the kit for the UV filter and the polaroid filter. Great shipping.

For every new lens.
With every new lens I buy, the first item I purchase is a UV filter. It helps protect the glass from potential damages. Everyone has their own opinion on whether they is a necessity or not but it gives me peace of mind.

standard oil filter
I use this oil filter with synthetic mobile 1 oil. I change the filter every 5000 miles, and replace the oil every 10,000. It's worked well for me so far.

Nifty Filter that packs a punch!
What a filter, the build quality is extremely nice for what it is. The filter is smooth in its movement and the image is sharp as a knife. This filter is a tool that any photographer or videographer must have in camera kit. When its bright outside this filter is a must allowing you to not have to step down on the camera and lose depth of field on your shots!Pro1. smooth movement2. Great for sunny days3.
