Our isight camera lens cracked on macbook. This is a much better hd alternative that saved us hundreds in repair. works perfectly with facetime and photobooth.

Awesome lens. This was taken the first day I got the lens. You have to use a tripod since it’s zoomed in so far. Also make sure to use a remote shutter since you can shake your camera if you press it manually. Definitely worth the price! The company also sent out a comprehensive packet of how to that was sufficient for me to easily set up my camera.

I bought this camera almost a year ago and it has been great! This is my first SLR, always had a point and shoot and it has served me well with over 2500 pictures taken. Not all of them have been great but I suppose that is me, not the camera! by the way I used a Canon EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 II USM lens instead of the kit lens and highly recommend it also.......

I rented this lens a few months back and fell in love with it. I recently switched to a full frame camera and having this ultra-wide zoom has been a great addition to my camera bag. You can't be shy with this lens. To see the real strength of the lens you often time have to get very close to your subject. It is great for landscapes. The kids love the distorted look you can get when taking pictures of them up close. I debated over getting the 16-35 f/2.8L, but I'm happy I went with this one. While the f/2.8L is a faster lens, I couldn't justify 2x the cost for 1 extra stop. With my new camera I can go to ISO6400 with little to no noise, so f/4 works very well for me.

I mounted a gimbel head on this to use for bird photography. Well made. Easily and safely holds a full frame digital camera and 399-mm lens.

This just barely fits my Nikon D750 with the 24-120mm f/4 ED VR lens attached. Because the top flap isn't quite wide enough, the rear top corners of the camera body aren't very well protected (four stars). Other than that, the BodyBag seems to provide significant protection from getting the camera/lens bumped around and from getting wet.

1/3/2022 updateI have now owned this lens for over a year. It is on my full frame Canon camera more than any other lens I have ever owned, including L lenses, other prime lenses, zoom lenses, and third party lenses. The image stabilization works very well. Focal length is ideal for close portraiture. Lets in a ton of light. It is lightweight. Couldn’t ask for a better lens. I like this better than any L lens I have ever owned because it is portable and produces beautiful photos.Trusty 50mm lens from Canon for the mirrorless body. Most affordable one. Just received it today (12/30/2020) and love it already. I have a Canon EOS RP, and with the lens, this is the most lightweight and portable setup I have ever had with a full frame camera.Only have had the lens for a few hours but it looks very similar to the EF version (which I love) and seems to function great. Best lens for the price with the Canon mirrorless system.The other RF lens I have is the 35mm F1.8 STM IS. Love that lens as well. It appears that both of these lenses focus well for both photo and video, and most importantly to me, they are both quiet for video. I use the RP for photography and family videography.Highly recommended. Please keep making more affordable RF lenses, Canon. Thank you!
