Worth every penny
One of the nicest pairs of binoculars I have used. They are well worth the price. They deliver some stunning images and I highly recommend them. They are well built and feel strong. I also use for hiking and they are quite the treat.

Night Vision Works Well
The night vision binoculars work well out to the 200' edge of our treeline as I hoped. The control buttons are a little hard for an elderly person to work, but once I set them my 90+ yo mother was happy to be able to watch the deer after dark. It is good for watching the local nature show! The screen is pixelated and details can't be seen whether in IR or not. As an example, at about 120' the "Chevrolet" written across the tailgate of my truck is blurry on the display to the point of not being able to identify the letters. For the price it is worth it for our use.

Amazing
These binoculars are just plain amazing for the price. The crisp images of the star fields in Saggitarius is worth the price alone, not to mention the beautiful views of the Lagoon nebula, Orion nebula, and Andromeda galaxy.Past reviews have pretty much summed it all up, but I wanted to offer some helpful advice to those who are having difficulties with the tripod adapter. First of all the outlet to screw in the adapter to the binoculars s under the screw off cap in front on the binoculars. When using the binoculars and tripod adapter on a tripod out of box, you may find that the adapter bends, making the binocular view swing left to right. To remedy this, buy some epoxy for plastic at your local hardware store, the good kind is the kind with two siringes in one, and put the glue into the open space on both sides of the adapter. Glue one side at a time, mix the glue in the space, and let it dry solid. This should make the adapter more solid, and your viewing more stable! =)

Great pair of binoculars. Well worth this price.
This is a great pair of binoculars for the money. They are great for the night sky viewing I bought them for. I have a telescope for more close up views. They are light enough for hand held viewing. They feel well made/sturdy and should last a long time with proper care. Only thing I would change is that the lense covers are not attached and could get lost fairly easy. At this price point I don't think you will find better.

A good monocular, forget about the "extras"
It may look a bit odd, with the focus knob projecting up from the barrel, but as with binoculars, this allows for one-handed operation. Captain Hook would have loved it! The optics seem very good, and as you would expect with such a large objective lens, the image is bright. With the rubberized exterior and the included lens caps, the monocular feels quite rugged and durable. We prefer a good monocular to binoculars for hiking and casual wildlife viewing, especially for sharing, because we find it quicker and easier to get a nice sharp image with just the one focus adjustment. No need to adjust for first one eye then the other, then have your companion do the same...On the other hand, the extras included with this purchase are not worth much. The little tripod might be useful with a small camera, but not much help with the monocular, unless you bring a table and chair with you. And the "books" , a hastily assembled set of PDFs, are even less useful.

THIS MONOCULAR IS PERFECT!! A MUST HAVE!!
We bought a pair of binoculars; yet, we discovered it's really hard to see clearly. The alternative is this monocular.. IT"S PERFECT. Easy to handle, the Polaris is clear.. and worth it. It's not that expensive. I also love that it came with a bag and a case, a tripod and a lens cleaner. This monocular HAS IT ALL!! WE love it!!
