Although a little heavy, they worth every pennyJust forget using them only with your bare hands, spend some bucks and purchase a tripod

My GTHUNDER night vision OF binoculars arrived this afternoon, and I couldn't wait til night to test them out. I was not disappointed. Nice feel & weight to them, not too clunky and awkward. Excellent picture; I spent about 45 minutes tracking cats & raccoons in my neighborhood, and reading the license plates of cars a couple of blocks away in the dark! I'm sold! And I know that far will like a pair for his birthday this month, so that's a done deal.

My first night out under dark skies with these binoculars was a terrific experience. In ninety minutes of observing I had great views of M36, M37, M38, M44, M50, easily saw the Trapizium in Orion's nebula, saw the Andromeda galaxy and it's companions streaching across 75% of my FOV. It had taken me two observing sessions with my 5" reflector to find M33, with the Binoculars I found it in two minutes, M81 and 82 were also easy.All this and I don't even have a tripod yet. I may well spend more time with the 15 X 70's than I do with my telescope.They are also great for terrestrial viewing. Contrast and definition are excellent. Best optical value I've ever seen.

For the price, these are very good binoculars. But quality control is hit or miss. The first pair I received were severely misaligned, so much so that I was seeing double of everything and could not correct the problem with the few adjustments that are possible without pulling out the jeweler's screwdrivers. Thanks to Amazon's terrific return policy I sent the first pair back and ordered a replacement. Thankfully, this second pair is excellent. The view is very clear and crisp and focusing is a snap. Despite their rather large appearance (compared to the old 7X50s they are replacing) these binoculars are easy to hold and reasonably light weight. I'm sure a lot of plastic is being used so they might not survive a drop like old metal-bodied binocs, but I'd rather save the extra weight and just be careful when using them (or mount them on a tripod with the included adapter).

Respectable clarity, comfort, user friendliness. Substantial weight, but probably to be expected.

I bought the 25x100...You'll see a lot of people on here who are more than amateur hobby astronomers. If they criticize these binoculars... DON'T LISTEN TO THEM. Pro's should stick to fancier equipment.However, for us hobbyists, this thing is AMAZING!!First, I thought it was used or opened, because the tape on the box was open, but it wasn't, it was all snug inside.It's huge, and heavy. The pics show the 25x100, next to my 2yr old 20x80's (also excellent!)This puppy is way bigger! The views you get are better, closer, clearer. I attached my Galaxy S22 Ultra to the binoculars and zoomed way into the moon, and took pics of Jupiter and his Galilean moons, beautiful...You can see deeper space, as well.For the first time, I had better views of Saturn, still small, but a little better then the 20x80's. The focus is easier than the 20x80, you adjust each eye lens individually, I like that better. The only negative for me, is, the big lens covers aren't attached to these binoculars, like the 20x80's are, so you can possibly lose them.Otherwise, this is an amazing piece of equipment.The bag: I don't understand why nobody ever gives much info on the bag... it's important. They could've done better with it, for the price you pay, but, it gets the job done.The binoculars are in a padding that wraps around the binoculars and Velcros shut, then you insert that in the bag. It seems safe enough. What people don't usually say, is that not only can you carry it with the shoulder strap, but, you can take the shoulder strap off and pass it through the plastic hoops on the back of the bag, and carry these heavy binoculars as a back pack! I LOVE that! It's much better than carrying them over the shoulder, especially for us smaller people. There is also a small zipper pouch on the front of the bag, where I personally store my green laser light, that I use while stargazing.All in all, these binoculars are a wonderful way to exercise your astronomy and deep space hobby!!

The night vision goggles of very good and easy to use when you first look at them you think they're not going to be very good but I think they are 50 times better I imagine they would have been a lot dearer for the quality of the item

Overall, it's an excellent set of night vision binoculars. Don't expect to be leading any missions to take down terrorist organizations, but for the money they do exactly as they advertise. My only dislikes (which are not product issues but my own high expectations) are that the screen for viewing is backlit, so switching from viewing the thru the binoculars to viewing without takes an adjustment period which is particularly long for me since I am nightblind. So being able to adjust the backlight would be helpful. Also, the lowest magnification level is like 1.5X or 2X which is my fault since I didn't investigate this first. A 1X would be nice since my original intent was to buy this for night navigation on my boat.
