You do not need to install the software
You do not need to install the software that comes with it. Just plug it in a computer and get going. Simple. I transferred some files from macbook pro to the drive and it barely took 5 minutes. The file size was relatively huge. The only downside is that there is not USB-C to USB-A cable with it if you wanna use it with older generation computers. I bought it separately. I recommend it.

Do you actually need Dimmable?
Great light! Good price and easy to install.I would give the rating of 4.5. I didn't realize this was dimmable, if it was just on and off at its brightest setting that would have been perfect. The downside to it being dimmable is that the on/off button is a little sensitive and hard to see. It's also the same button that controls the dimmer. Tap for on off and click and hold to dim.If you probably only need the bright setting then a non-dimmable would have a less annoying on off button. I personally wish I would have bought the non-dimmable with an easier on/off button.

Perfect for everything you need to do.
I’m so happy with this gimbal. Super easy to set up. I’m not happy with the fact that sometimes the camera lenses are to much for this device. Because sometimes a shows the gimbal motor/extension. But if you ajuste the view of it? You can take fun videos.
