Does it's job well
Does a decent job. Would benefit from a textured finish around the edge for better hand grip. Does sometimes stick, but that's probably true of all aluminium rings. A bit of graphite pencil on the threads helps.

Such a help
My neighbors get home around 1:30 AM and make a racket. Are they doing jumping jacks? Then the garbage trunks empty the dumpsters around 6AM. I got this, turned it on RAIN and got blissful sleep. I wish it had one lower level but I can set it down below the top of my mattress level and it's fine. Can't believe how well it works.

Help!!!
I have a question, I have a motorcycle, a street glide to be exact, I was wondering how good would the car suction cup work on the front fairing, it has bit of glass we’re you can place it, but my big question/concerns are, would it stay in place at high speeds such as the freeway? It won’t come flying towards my face lol ?Now I’m afraid of installing the 3m tape on the paint, I’m afraid it’ll ruin it ?Is it safe on paint the 3m paint, perhaps when I take it off, is going to leave a mark? Or ruin the paint thanks ?

base mount has backlash
tightening the screw on the base does not help against backlash
