I use the stand for a webcam. Its a tripod on my desk and have no issues with. It works, not sure what else to add.

Easy to use Webcam!
This webcam is truly plug and play. I did not realize until I received it that you need the weight of the cord behind the webcam to help hold it in place since it does not have a clip that attaches to the monitor.It just sort of rests upon the top of the monitor and uses a couple of plastic ledges on the clip and the weight of the cord to hold it in place. Once placed on top of your monitor, you have a very limited amount of tilt to center your face in the video.The camera does have a built in microphone. So if you use a headset or a separate microphone, make sure to identify which microphone that your video chat software should use.The field of view on the camera is pretty wide, and things in the distant background are pretty well in focus. So make sure that there is nothing in your background that you would not want other people to see.

Can use this as a webcam since they are all out of stock or very expensive. Good features and fast shipping.

Very good webcam for the price
This webcam has good quality for viewing. It was very easy to set up and use. The one thing that I would like to see is a physical sliding lens cover. I have this on my laptop webcam and it makes me fell comfortable that I am controlling when the webcam can see. I would buy this again (and probably will).

This webcam is incredibly easy to set up. It took me less that 10 minutes to set up following the included instructions. I purchased the webcam for my 93 year-old grandmother to use to Skype with me several states away and my sister and niece abroad. She loves it! If she can use it you can too. The quality is absolutely worth the price.

Great webcam, really clear, use it for my DJ streams, every week. Perfect with a great lightening also.
