A bit to firm
Works well as an adapter but mine has locked on to my 28 mm yashica lens and I have not been able to remove it. Its not currently a big deal to me at the moment as it will be left on this lens in any case, but it could impact others.

Great!
Once you figure out how you want to orient it and accommodate it this is really wonderful. No issues walking midtown Detroit and quickly being able to grab the camera. The only thing I can say is perhaps a small instruction pamphlet since you have to figure out how something like a thicker bag strap is passed through.

Quality is ok, but fine for the low cost
I ordered this strap for my LUMIX G7 camera. The strap fits the camera just fine and is lightweight. It appears the strap is made with real leather, but it’s not the best quality and it has a micro suede backing sewn to the strap. I’m not sure how well this will hold up over time, but for the price, it’s tough to complain much about the quality.

Excellent
I am absolutely in love with this over the shoulder strap. Far better than the stock strap that comes with the camera. Being able to hold my extra batteries in the strap makes for a quick exchange for prolonged usage. The added pull strap which allows you to adjust the length Before & After use, keeps the camera securely against me while walking.

Practical and comfortable, with a few caveats
I bought the Capture for my Sony A7III with 24-105 f/4 zoom (2.9 lb/1.3 kg together). Clipped to the strap of my backpack, it is by far the most comfortable way to carry that camera/lens combination out of those I've tried. The camera is in sight and within easy reach, securely locked but easily unclipped, and I hardly notice the additional weight on the strap, even after hours of walking. When I got it, I spent some time getting the position on the backpack strap right and practicing detaching and attaching the camera with one hand. I could then always do it reliably. I detached/attached my camera hundreds of times and never felt I was at risk of dropping it. A strap is still safer, of course, but you can add a safety line if you want.Build quality is great, which honestly is the minimum at this price point. The edges of the plate, inevitably, are quickly worn down to bare metal by the constant clipping and unclipping, but the coating on the clip's receptacle hasn't worn much so far.My only major gripe with the system, which is not a fault but an inherent limitation, is that it doesn't work as well with slings and messenger bags. I tried Peak Design's own 10 l sling bag, which has fabric bands at the sides for fitting the clip, but the weight of camera and bag on the single (mediocre) strap is quickly bothersome. Fit aside, the immediacy is just not there anymore; I could not figure a way to unclip the camera safely and reliably with the bag tightly secured to my back (where it's most comfortable) and loosening the bag first adds a bit of time to the proceedings, which quickly adds up if you attach and detach the camera often. Use with messengers is probably best limited to light camera/lens combinations.Other caveats:- The clip barely fits my Thule backpack strap in both width and depth. Thickness can be dealt with thanks to the included pair of longer screws but I'm not so sure about width — do your own research carefully.- The thumbscrews do loosen little by little — I've seen a significant amount after only a few hours of walking around. Make sure they are tight and check on them every once in a while. At least they can be easily retightened without a tool.- The plate can only be secured with the included hex key, as it has no D ring on the screw, an annoyance common to several Peak Design products. Have the tool with yourself when you're out and about, in case you inadvertently loosen the plate (for example by yawing the camera about).Even with all these caveats, I do like the Capture. After having it for a while I find it hard to do without, to the point where I carry a backpack with the clip where before I'd have preferred a messenger bag. If it fits your requirements, I recommend you give it a try.

Loved it!!
Wonderful camera strap, I haven't seen any straps like this honestly. It's comfortable more so then a regular strap because the weight distribution, the way the camera lays, because of where the strap connects (On the bottom of the camera and on the side) stops the camera from swinging, as well as keeping it comfortable for you. There's a little pocket in the strap, and a way to adjust the length as well. Came in great condition and I didn't wait long at all for the shipping! Would definitely recommend.

Comfortable and secure
A standard camera strap either goes around your neck or on your shoulder. My camera is HEAVY and I often carry it all day for several days in a row. This strap balances the weight better and provides a wider, softer pad on your shoulder. It also has a safety strap so that the shoulder strap won't slip off.

For Mamiya 645
I bought a used Mamiya 645 with a waistlevel finder and wanted a strap to carry and use as support when shooting. The lugs on the strap matched the fittings on the side of the camera and are very secure. I adjusted the strap length to position the camera and it works perfectly. Just what I wanted.

great value [still]
Not had this product long but for the price it looks to be excellent value for money. It is well padded and configurable inside. Plenty of room for DSLR Nikon 5100, with standard lens + space for telephoto and flash gun. Space for bits like infra red remote, spare batteries, filters, charger etc.Zipped compartment at top for whatever you want. Single sling back strap with securing cross strap + a carry handle. Two plastic strips at bottom allow the bag to stand up if required.UPDATE: Having used this product for nearly six months now I find one of the attached buckles has come off. However it never appeared to serve any real purpose other than to get in the way of the main compartment zip fastener so it's no loss at all. I find the bag easy to carry over the shoulder and it can be held secure by a cross chest strap. Best of all it does not look like a camera bag. Many people have commented on my new "compact rucksack" however. This is great, as I did not want a bag that screamed out "expensive camera gear" nor did I want one that looked like a ladies handbag. Despite the useless buckle coming off I still give it five stars based on price and versatility.
