I was 2 seconds from returning it because there have seemed to be issues with the DJI Fly Now App. So it took me 3 days to figure out that I needed to delete unused apps and files on my S9 Samsung in order to upload the Fly Now App. Since then, all is well.Had to use DJI Fly Now [APK]

First time flying a drone. Learned to fly it in less than an hour and felt confident after 2 weeks.You can get amazing videos and pictures with this tiny drone. It's powerful, fast, silent and reliable. It's even durable! i've had some crashes already (nothing bad, fortunately) and didn't even get a scratch on the drone itself (i lost a propeller though, but this combo even comes with spare parts!). And being so so light, you can actually fly this drone pretty much everywhere drones aren't straight out banned. In short: 5 stars on everything.A few months after purchase - edit: i'm falling in love with my drone again. Yesterday, i was at a certain location in the mountains and happen to see one of my favorite birds (golden headed quetzal) and managed to captured it on video with my drone. I was unbelieveably happy about it and when i got back to where i was staying i was struck by the fact that the video seemed to be corrupted. Long story short: DJI seem to have a built-in video recovery software and today i managed to recover it! its super easy: just instert a battery and the original memory card you used, turn on the drone for a few minutes (i left it until the battery was half dried, just sitting on my desk) and that's it. I did try, however, something else that didn't seem to work right away but idk if it helped: before just leaving it do whatever it did while standing on my desk, i recorded 3 or 4 short clips, just a few seconds long, without even taking off. Anyway, i'm happy now and i hope someone in similar circumstances and in need does read this review and hope he or she gets the "corrupted" video back to working order.

DJI has done a great job on this mini2, flight is very stable at high wind as others mentioned. Video and photos could be better, but is sufficient as entry level in aero photography. Battery lasted about 25minutes on sports mode. This is a good mid range drone and easy to learn, however, as other have mentioned, learn from a cheap one before you invest in this one, once you developed the skills and confidence, you’ll have no problem flying without crashing. The manufacturer claimed to fly this drone 10km/6 miles. The farthest I flew is 1.5miles with trees surrounding which cause a weak and breaking reception. What they didn’t tell you is 10km/ 6miles without structural/ trees between the controller and drone. I have yet to try on an open field and higher elevations to test the range. Based on my experience with this setup, Im a happy customer and would recommend this to anyone for their entry level droning. Happy Droning!

 Definitely a great beginner drone. Sucks it doesn’t work with third party apps and doesn’t have obstacle avoidance but quality of video and pictures is wild. You get what you pay for and more.

Very short battery life, extra batteries are a must!!Great camera!

well packaged easy to set up just having fun in retirement

Got this drone a few weeks ago and I love it. Very easy to fly, lots of great training videos on YouTubeThe batt is suppose to last 30 min but I seem to only get about 15 min to a batt. If u buy a DJI mini 2 only get the FLY MORE package so u have three batts and the charger that also acts as a phoke charger. And you get lots of extra props which u will need as a beginner.

Loved it. Great beginner drone. Easy to use. The only negative is the it may keep a signal 10km away in a desert with line of sight, but with any type of obstructions, it is limited to about 2km, and that cant be at ground level, it needs to be atleast 100m in the air.
