Great little drone for the price, range isn't terribly far but that can be fixed with a router antenna mod pretty easily. Don't fly in any wind, seriously, a light breeze took mine pretty far to an apt roof on the first outdoor flight

 Pretty great drone for the price! Very speedy and easy to fly. I am able to use it indoors and outdoors. Comes in a conveniently packaged case for easy travel. Recommended!

This is a big step up for my son from his current drone. He loves all the features and how easy it is to fly. It is smaller and very light than what I thought it would be but he is enamored with the drone. We are very careful with when we fly it with the weather and winds especially which is typical for most drones. For his age, the camera is great and he really looks forward to flying over screen time which is a big win for me!

Finally got my hands on the SYMA x500, as it being my first drone it’s great. Easy to control and doesn’t take to long to learn all the features. Comes with two batteries so you can switch out and continue to fly.it was everything I was looking for to start my droning journey.

I lovethis for my son. This is his first drone and he absolutely loved it! It was easy for Him to fly it inside and outside. I'm going to order another for my other son! I recommend this for all beginners

My Granddaughter liked the size and weight for easy carry. She liked the paper doll figures of the Spy Ninjas so you can practice your aim. It is easy to fly but you have to get better at navigating it by playing with the drone more. It's very easy to charge.

This has been a great beginner drone to learn. It’s pretty rugged even after a few crashes. I even got it stuck up in the top of a pine tree for about a week in the weather and rain before the wind blew it down, and it still flew, though the battery was toast. It is definitely a fun flyer but can get pushed round with heavier winds due to its small size. With that said I have often taken it up to about 60 feet, but you just have to be careful because it doesn’t have the longest range. I would not expect much from the camera, you will not be taking cinematic videos with this one, but this is a good drone to learn how to fly before spending more money on a better camera drone. It has also been easy for my son (8yo) To figure out how to fly it.

 It’s my first drone and I fly every chance I get. It’s a great starter drone and it has been very easy to learn to fly and shoot amazing photos and videos in 4K. It doesn’t have collision avoidance so it makes to a much better pilot. The setup and initial flight experience were excellent. Make sure you buy a high performance micro SD card. 32gb will work, but 256 is ideal. The hardest part has been transferring the images from the drone to my laptop.Make sure you get the DJI Refresh coverage. It includes “fly away” insurance in case you drone doesn’t come home for some reason.Make sure you are aware of local restrictions before flying. DJI does a great job of helping you know where you can fly, but always verify. I live between several highly restricted zones and also close enough to an airport that I have to be extra cautious.The controller is great and requires a smartphone or tablet. I am using my old iPhone XR as a dedicated screen. I’ve tried it with my 12 pro max and it’s great. The DJI app has more robust features for iOS user vs android. It has many automated shots. Just be sure you have adequate space to avoid collisions.Bottom line: Best starter drone for creating content. For the price and overall quality(software, firmware, hardware) it’s a great choice.
