Works for Lenovo T490s
This works for a Lenovo laptop T490s to provide a second working HDMI hookup for a second HDMI connected monitor. Saves you purchasing a docking station or other converters which do not support the Lenovo T490s.

Was definitely worth the purchase!
I was ify at first since I've never bought a webcam before, but I definitely needed a step up from my built in laptop cam. I have a Lenovo Legion y520 and the position they put the webcam was definitely....unconventional and inconvenient - being placed under the screen rather than on top of the screen.The quality is high and has little to no lag. The autofocus works, but it takes a moment for it to actually focus on something close to the camera, but it does work well and clearly!Would highly recommend this camera for things like streaming and video calls!

Simple to use. Works with everything but Lenovo...
Using this adapter to get HDMI output from VGA has been simple and easy. I have only found that certain Lenovo laptop computers don't work with the adapter. Otherwise it is compact, scales video reasonably well, and it works.

Using it on a Mac? Read this!
If you are using this webcam on a Mac with USB-C ports then make sure you are using the USB type c to USB type c connection (which this webcam doesn't come with) from the webcam to the computer. Any other connection type won't work.
