Lightweight Rucksack for the Photography Enthusiast.
Lightweight and easy to customised the storage and can take quite a bit of equipment including space of a couple of tablets.

You get what you pay for
I bought the Canon 70D body (with no lens) then bought this lens as my "kit" lens. I have now had this lens for a month. If you do your research and know what you want from a lens (like this one), you will get what you want. Is the a perfect lens? No. Am I surprised about this considering it is bargain priced? No.

Good value for the price
I purchased this lens after reading some good review. It serves its purpose and reduced the glare on Sigma 17-50 lens. This lens fits snugly on the lens and kept my lens from getting dust or scratches. So far I am happy with my purchase

Not bad for the price
The wide angle lens takes a bit getting used to. Unfortunately, it scratched my flash on the back of my phone when adjusting, but that's my fault. Be careful when putting this on your phone and DO take off your phone case to avoid the vignette effect. This lens works great for wide angle, but the macro lens takes a bit to master. If your phone's camera has a manual (pro) mode, use that to your advantage to put the focus in manual mode if you're using the macro lens. If not, and you have shaky hands like me, you're going to have a hard time focusing on the smaller objects.

A handy tool for an amateur in photography
I purchased this camera on last Thanksgiving and have been using it on every trip since then. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product. It gives me a lot to freedom in modes such as aperture/shutter priority and manual exposure, and the photos it take are way much better than that of the point-and-shot I used to have. This camera (plus the Canon Digital Photo Professional software that came free in box ) meets all my current needs as an amateur in photography while saving me money for extra lenses(I got 55-250mm zoom lens and 50mm f1.8 prime lens). I am very happy with this camera.

Worth Every Penny...
I absolutely LOVE this lens. It is a wonderful portrait lens! Photographs are crisp, clear, with vibrant color and to-die for bokeh. I love the zoom range, allowing me to walk around my subject and zooming in and out for completely different looks even while my client is in the same pose. But it is HEAVY! When I second shoot weddings, my main photographer asks me to start out using this lens. Initially I could only go three hours, but now I've worked up to about five hours before even the IS can't save my shaking, aching arms and I need to switch lenses to my 100mm or my 24-105.I also love this lens on a tripod for nature photography. While I might not be able to fill up a frame with a bird on a tree limb, on my 5d ii I am able to crop the image to make a beautiful, tack sharp image that looks like I had a super zoom lens on my camera.Highly recommended. If you don't have the money for this lens, but want a good portrait lens, consider the 100mm 2.8 lens.

Popular sharp lens, old noisy slow IS
This is a great lens that has demonstrated it's popularity with professional photographers for nearly a decade. I love it's solid construction, as well as the speed and depth of field of a 2.8 aperture throughout the focal range. With it's older IS technology though you can hear the gyros spinning and it sometimes takes a moment to acquire a focus in low light - so I presume the IS system in the new April 2010 version 2 of this lens will address this. It's a solid lens, a must for wedding, portrait and fashion photographers among others. With the EF lens mount I can use this on full frame (5D) and my APS-C (Xti) camera bodies - where it effectively becomes a 105-300mm lens! I've also used a Marumi 77mm DHG (Digital High Grade) Achromat Macro 200 (+5) lens for some macro photography which can be fun too - though note the focal range becomes very shallow with that!

Big shots in a little package
This compact lens is literally my favorite “on the go” lens. So small on my eos r body, it practically weights nothing. Auto focus is quick, sharp, and it does an epic job on both photo and video.I added a self portrait in my studio setup with some low light as well as a shot on the Santa Monica Pier at midnight when I was in CA. This lens produces amazing images in extremely low light. Just need to know your camera settings is all. Don’t trust anyone who says this lens can’t do great things. I shoot with it daily and it pays the bills ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Excellent for the price
Beginner here. Started working the the standard 18-55 lens and decided to try a different lens that wouldn't break the bank. Read about how this lens was a must have for your set up and is used a lot so went for it. Where I see this camera really take off is the bokeh. It does a great job blurring the background. I'm interested in auto photography so this lens works great for me if I have room to use it, not recommended for car shows as 50mm puts you at risk of being to far to capture the photo without interference from others. If you have a little extra money, purchase the 50mm f/1.4
