This light is great. We had a problem about 2 months in. We turned it on and it would flash 3 times and turn off. I emailed the company. They got right back to me. It was a bad ac adapter. They sent me a new adapter that I got with in 3 days. Awesome service!

I used this ring light (light guide) on the Olympus TG-4, and it gives a nice even illumination for close-up photos. There is sometimes a significant flare in some parts of the photo, but this can usually be avoided with some movement of the camera. It is too bad that Olympus does not give decent instructions with the light. This would appear to have avoided a lot of problems for some users. A lot of poor reviews here appear to be due to the users not using the ring light correctly. For instance, some users keep the flash turned on and think that the ring light should somehow disperse the light from the flash. Instead the flash should be turned off and the LED setting should be turned on so that the ring light lights up when the camera is in the Macro mode. Some of the reviewers here also nicely describe how to use the ring light.As a sidelight, the light is not very bright so it can be overwhelmed by a bright light like sunlight. Then I might use my Nikon camera with a macro lens and Nissan Ring Light which gives a nice bright light.

Love the quality of the item. I already have a light stand but the inclusion of an adapter to make my tripod work with it was a happy surprise. Holds my flash very securely and all adjustment points are nice and tight.

Combined with the macro focus stacking, this ring flash makes great, shadow-less, infinite depth-of-field images for technical work. It is also great for bugs and flowers. But seriously, look at the attached circuit board and wire photo, everything is lit smoothly and everything is in focus. This is the picture your mind imagined and reality refused. Another great feature of this ring flash and camera combo is that the LED assist light can be always on, which provides great light for preview, setup and focus.

I bought this ring light for zoom meetings. It does a great job. I wish it had an adapter to attach my DSLR camera but otherwise, it does great with having my phone on. Would definitely purchase again

The first one I got had the connection for the power adapter is at the bottom of the ring light needs to sit on the tripod. This made it impossible to attach the ring light to the tripod included in the kit since the power cord connection sticks out and overlaps. The ring light attaches fine without the power cord being plugged in, but that defeated the purpose.Update: Company sent a new one which is an updated design. The power cord on this one is to the right, so the whole thing is much more functional.

This is an excellent flash unit for its price. It is highly useable too, as the two buttons and sliding scale of LEDs let you quickly adjust between more light and less light (though there are no numbers or calculations used for this).The only downsides I've discovered so far are the plastic locking ring to fasten the flash to the camera seems flimsy and the white card is sometimes difficult to get out.

 This ring flash feels sturdy and premium. The box comes with easy to set up ring adapters. I have two lenses and could easily swap that two single handedly. The flash light is bright and adjustable. Overall, happy with quality. I have taken some photos, still learning, but I am very pleased with results.
