Useful on the trail
I like this tripod for a few reasons. First, it's pretty light for a tripod and it easily fits in a backpack. It can be used to support cameras, smart phones, and GoPros. The product description says it can be used as a selfie stick, which is true, but holding the tripod feet is awkward.

Great for Selfies, Phone Videos and Zoom Calls
We used this tripod to record a wedding reception with an iphone and it came out great. We used a second of the same tripod with a webcam connected to a laptop to Zoom the ceremony and everyone could see everything perfectly. The light ring makes a big difference. Great deal for a very nice tripod.
