I'm told if we increase or purchases of products made in the United States, this would create hundreds of thousands of jobs in our country. I would appreciate receiving this kind of information from Amazon

I now look for things that are NOT made in China. I guess I got too excited when I read "DESIGNED AND HEADQUARTERED IN THE HEART OF WISCONSIN - USA" . Glad to support a USA company, but feel that line was slightly misleading. I'd be willing to pay more for things made in the USA as we are certainly now paying a premium for all our junk from China.Light is very lightweight, barely notice it clipped to the book.

So I have ordered this filter multiple times and some times I get made the the USA and sometimes I get Made is Mexico.Key differences I found.Made in Mexico ( Right filter and Right Box)has 8 holes instead of 5Filter always comes wrapped in plasticOil interval sticker is inside the boxMade in the USA (Left filter and left box)Only 5 holes for oil flowNot plastic wrapped from amazonOil interval sticker is directly on the filter box as seen in picture.Overall the package box is different design as well if you look carefully at the box folding. one has longer fold. Also on the top of the filter one will be Printed saying its Made in USA or MexicoI cannot tell if there are any difference once they are installed in the car. But it does makes me wonder if one is better than the other? Mexico one has 7 holes seems better, but its made in mexico compared to the USA.I still buy them because of the great price.But I do take 1 star away because the inconsistency in the product you may be receiving.I notice I tend to get more Made is USA more than made in mexico.I prefer a filter that comes plastic wrapped because every time i get the oil filter the filter box is all damaged. and sometimes filter is not even in the box.
