Well constructed and great value for money
I have been taking photographs since the mid 1970s and over the years have gone through my fair share of filters, square, round and even homemade. This K&F filter comes well packaged in a sturdy plastic box which a foam insert designed to securely hold the filter whilst being transported. The insert has recessed finger holes for very easy removal of the filter even with cold fingers. On picking up the filter the first thing you notice is how sturdy it is and how velvety smooth the movement when you twist the outer ring. I have purchased lower-priced filters before and sometimes been very disappointed in the mechanical construction but not this time as it is on a par with many more expensive filters in my collection.I purchased this to use on my Nikon lenses when shooting video. My normal choice of filter is the square system but at present for video use these screw-in ND faders are by far the best option for my money. One of the first acid tests for any filter is how well it attaches to the front of the lens and this one did not disappoint. Straight on, first time with no fuss or fumble. The filter rim sits proud on a Nikkor 24-70 f2.8 making the outer ring very easy to grip when adjusting the strength of the ND filter. This is a relatively slimline filter and as with other slimline filters I have used the lens cap does not feel very secure attached to the front but this is not an issue with this type of lens as I only have it attached whilst I’m actually using the camera.Whilst I have not had the chance yet to try the filter in all conditions my early conclusions are very positive. Physically using the filter is very pleasant because of the smoothness of operation and there are handy markings around the rim of the filter showing maximum and minimum positions. On a dull day like today, shooting with a Neutral picture style I found the images taken with the filter lacked just a little contrast compared to those with no filter. I doubt that it would be as noticeable on a bright, sunny day (when to be fair an ND fader is more likely to be needed) but in the event it was not a major issue as I simply tweaked the contrast up a notch or two and created a custom picture style which worked a treat. As soon as we do get a bright, sunny day I will test the filters again and if my assumption regarding contrast proves wrong I will post an update below. However, with a 1,500 mile wide storm due to batter the Uk over the weekend don’t hold your breath!I have other K&F products in my kit bag, including lens adapters, and would not hesitate to purchase this brand in the future. On my personal experience to date they are well constructed and represent very good value for money. This filter represents incredible value for money and the small niggle with reduced contrast in dull conditions does not give me a reason to reduce the star rating. Had I paid around the £100 mark for the filter then all other things being equal I would certainly be dropping one star but at this price point that is just being curmudgeonly. Please note that whilst I have reviewed the 77mm version here I have also purchased a 67mm version too for use with a Samyang 12mm lens on a Fuji X-T10.

My first drone - Enjoying it !
I am brand new... Have tried it 3x so farCharged the batteries and without reading any directions, brought it to my nephew, who has experience with drones, to see if he could give me some head-start advice...He did help pair my drone to the controller and install the app onto my phone. The App lets you see what the camera drone sees, lets you record video and stills directly going to your phone, and lets you control it from your PHONEHe did a trial flight and then without giving me any instructions on what I needed to do, handed me the controls and said "Just fly it"That wasn't the greatest advice.I had no idea what I was doing !For flight #2, I read the directions and watched some you tube videos..Then, I found out that you put the left joystick up and down, and then down and the props start spinning and it stays on the ground.. When you put both joysticks to the lower right or hit the side top button, it automatically takes off and hovers... You can control and steer it from there going vertical with the left joystick or moving horizontally with the right joystick. If you get into trouble, bring both joysticks to the lower inside position (like a "V") and it will landI did have some questions so I e-mailed customer support, and each and every time, I got a quick and helpful answer from DAVID who has been very helpful on either advice about the hardware, or flying it...So far, I am enjoying it and looking forward to bringing it out again on a nice day !George (recently retired teacher)

Great starter drone for beginners.
Upside: Really easy to use. Very fun and extremely strong for its size.Downside: Propellers are very easily tangled by pet hair, dust and debris. Very difficult to change out propellers. 30 minutes charge time gives you about 15 minutes of fly time. Battery can be a bit difficult to remove.

Easy to control
Update to previous review: after changing batteries the issue with pairing seemed to go away. The drone is easy to fly and land. While flying time is limited to less than 10 minutes, they do give you 3 sets of rechargeable batteries which is nice. I would recommend this to new flyers. OLD REVIEW: Read all the reviews and thought this drone would be good but my teenage daughter slowly lost interest. It worked great the first few times on xmas day and then it stopped pairing. We are going to try to refresh the batteries and if that improves things I will adjust this review. But so far, not too impressed.

Nice flying starter drone
This drone comes in a pretty sturdy case that holds all of it's accessories. It comes with extra blades, landing gear and prop guards. The camera is modular and has it's own spot also. It does a minute to put together each use if stored in case but it's really quick.I was surprised at the weight of it it is heavier than it looks but is light and I had a hard time with it in the wind so be warned even at high speed the wind can be tough.I did find that it was very easy and straightforward to operate I feel this would be a great beginning drone for anyone.Camera quality is about whats expected for this price point. Color is nice but clarity isn't the best.I personally like these drones just to fly for fun so to me then camera quality isn't a big deal. It's fine for at home and recreational purpose but far from professional.I really like the controller it fits the hand and is easy to understand but my only gripe is that the phone holder doesn't hold it very tight. May have to remove your case if you have one.So overall this is a great flying small drone to learn on with accessories and two batteries for extra flying.

Definitely a great kids drone
I've considered a drone for my YouTube channel but not quite sure. Loolinn offered to send the Z3 for me to try and while it is fun to fly "especially with no experience" It definitely is a toy. I have used it to learn more about drones which has been useful. The 720P camera is about what you would expect from 720 when taking pictures but the video is very washed out and jerky. Because of the light weight do not use it on windy days!

For the price it's a good little drone
For the price it's a good little drone. It's taken some MASSIVE abuse as I learn to fly it. Walls, ceilings, desks, i've crashed it into everything. Haven't had to replace a part yet.It does NOT perform well in even mild winds. 5-6mph and you could lose the drone. Pretty windy out here in Nebraska so you have to play very carefully.I bought some 850mah batteries to go with it, SIGNIFICANTLY longer flight times with those batteries, I've gotten mid to high teens in flight time! Their weight also does help a LITTLE with the winds.

Great drone, especially for the price
I’ve been flying R/C aircraft for 47 years. I flew R/C helicopters and the early quadcopters (Flamewheel 450’s) where we had to tweak the accelerometers just to get it to fly properly. I’ve had my Discovery Pro’s for many years now and enjoyed the hundreds of FPV flight experiences I’ve had during that time. But it was never a “hands off” situation. You have to actively fly them from take-off to landing. So imagine my surprise when I pull this >250g drone out of the case, press a button, and it pop’s up into a perfect hover in an 18 mph wind without any input from me! Or press a button and it returns home and lands itself. What an incredible piece of technology. This thing is really just a flying robotic camera. Though you move the sticks, the drone figures out what you want and then does it. An academic point perhaps, but a different experience for those of us that have been flying for a long time. The 4k camera and gimbal are excellent; just remember to buy a high speed memory chip for on-board media storage. The DJI Fly app requires a lot of computational power; much more than its predecessor, DJI Go. This may mean that your favorite portable device may not run the app. Try downloading the app before purchasing to test compatibility. It also no longer has “follow mode”, though I’m not sure why.Because I’m cheap, I bought a renewed combo and have no complaints. Looks and works like brand new at a substantial savings.Overall, I’m extremely impressed with this little drone, its ability to handle wind, the crystal-clear transmitted video and long range, the incredible 4k images it produces, and the fact that it pretty much flys itself. Also, because it weighs less than 250 grams, it is not subject to Part 107. However, if you purchase one, please fly responsibly! Don’t fly above 400 feet, don’t annoy your neighbors and PLEASE do not fly into controlled airspace!
