I m giving the product a 5 star considering the price of it.. it's a great polarizing filer for the beginners and enthusiasts.. definitely not a filter of choice for the professional.. It has a purple tint to it but gets the job done for you.1. Polarising effect 7/102. Quality of product 8/103. Value for money 9/10

An edit to my original review, having used the filters several times now.Seller really helpful and friendly and the product arrived very quickly! This remains the case with the seller contacting me recently with more advice on how to use the filters.Need to be careful and not use the filters in combination - I found the polarising filter gets stuck on the UV filter and it's really hard to unstick! This is a fact - you can use them together but you need to take care and not screw them together tightly. This makes using the polarising filter a little tricky (when in combination with another filer - but with practice it works.Polarising filter would benefit from a scale on the side so you know what level of polarisation you are getting - otherwise it's a bit trial and error! Have used this filter for a while now and yes a scale would be helpful but I've learned where the max and min effect are now.ND4 isn't very strong. Nothing wrong with the filter itself - just as well put together and robust as the others - but it's just ND4 doesn't have a very strong effect. I should have done more research!Cleaning pen is good and useful to have a case but the materials are a little abrasive so pack filters in cleaning cloths I'd say.The filters them selves seem sturdy. Very good value for a novice.

I have not used much yet so can't comment of quality of filter. Construction seems to be fine and it fits on lens as expected.

This seems to do the trick. I purchased it more as a lens protector than filter. I have not had any issues with my images being cloudy or hazy since putting the filter on. I actually did a back-to-back comparison of photos with the filter and without. I could not detect a difference. It seems to be of decent quality.

Great filter, fit perfectly on my Nikon 70-300 lens. Crystal clear and has perfect picture quality. Highly recommend

I bought this filter for a Tamron SP 70-300mm f/4-5/6 Di VC USD telephoto lens. The filter was rather 'dirty' with speckles of dust and some mild 'grease' stains unevenly distributed across the filter area when I got it right out of the box! I managed to clean the filter successfully using a lens-pen without scratching it (phew...). However, I'm not sure who's the culprit.. the manufacturer or the seller (Overstocks Closeout). For the benefit of doubt, I'd still rate it 5-star as it isn't a big deal and the filter (after being cleaned) does it's job effectively without any signs of 'ghosting' in the photos I took so far (at least > 100 since using it).

I had previously purchased a cheap circular polarizer filter and I could not get my lens to focus properly with it on. So I spent a little more on this filter and I am very pleased with the results! It worked great and has fine clarity. I'm looking forward to creating much better landscapes with this filter.
