Fine with Canon 500D and Kit lens 18-55 mm
These arrived in a simple box that won’t fit through your letter box. There is a tulip hood, a rubber hood and a lens cap.I tested these on the ‘kit’ EFS 18-55mm lens on a Canon 500D. I’m going on a beach holiday so I don’t want to take big lens so its back to the kit one.The tulip hood screws on unlike my more expensive 78mm EW-83J that I use on my main lanes the EFS 17-55 mm. With it being screwed on, when the camera is focused the hood rotates. At wide no zoom this can be seen as a black ring. It’s a simple matter to rotate it back out of shot. There is a ring on the tulip that allows it to be locked in place. It’s a little faffy but at the price what can you expect? The plastic seems OK and not brittle. The rubber hood screws on easily and has two positions, on and folded back. Again at wide no zoom this could be seen in the viewfinder. Zooming in soon makes it disappear. The lens cap is a simple pinch. It doesn’t work too well with the tulip but fine with the hood.I had no problems with either of the hoods using a Tiffen 58mm UV filter. At this price the minor issues are acceptable as you get what you pay for.I’ve uploaded some photos including one showing the black ring effect.

A very good beginner DSLR
This is my first DSLR. I must say that it is so user friendly! The brief descriptions on the LCD screen corresponding to each function/setting help tremendously, and after only my 2nd week of using it, I already have a relatively strong command of the major settings of the camera (aperture, shutter speed, ISO, etc.) and can take quite decent manual shots (I hardly ever use the preset functions anymore), all in part due to the user-friendliness of all the functions and settings. That being said, the presets are actually quite good, especially in daylight or well-lit scenes. In darker scenes, when the settings are manually set right, the quality of photos can be pristine. This is a very powerful camera, and I do not regret for one instance not paying for the T3i or the T4/T4i, especially with this being my first DSLR.Perhaps one of the only gripes I have about the camera is that it lacks an audio input jack, so I have to depend on the built in mic for the audio in my videos (of course I can just record audio from a separate source and just sync the recording with the video later using editing software). So far, in addition to the camera, I have bought a SanDisk Ultra 16GB SDHC UHS-I Class 10 Memory Card, the PLR Optics High Resolution 3-piece Filter Set (very nice quality lens filters), and the Lowepro SlingShot 102 AW camera case, a very very good buy and highly recommended. I am looking into buying a monopod now (there is a built in holder for a monopod on the Slingshot case), as well as a remote shutter release.Last point: My brother owns a Nikon D5100, and although he is not a professional photographer by any means, my photos have come out in a quality that has both impressed him and is on equal par with an average photo from his "higher class" camera.

Unsurpassed Quality
I recently ordered a Manfrotto monopod and was about to order a Giottos ball head for it when I saw the SIRUI unit in various ball size choices. I went with my gut instinct that the SIRUI unit looked like it may have the quality I sought so I committed. It arrived (from Poland) promptly and I have to say that my instinct had not let me down. The quality is fantastic and build quality/machining is superb, a credit to the manufacturer. I ca n highly recommend this supplier and product unreservedely. The Q/R plate has six thin rubberised pads which will give good protection to the camera base. The platr release mechanism works a treat and the ball friction adjustment is precise, accurate and perfectly weighted, as is the angular base ring. Great product. 5 stars well deserved.

Surprisingly Sturdy
The feel is compact, solid and certainly sturdy enough to hold my Canon EOS Rebel T5i/700D with a standard zoom lens. Although the advertised load capacity is 6.6 lbs, I do worry about whether it will be adequate to support my camera (1.2 lbs) with a Sigma 500 mm ultra telephoto zoom lens (3.2 lbs) attached if and when I decide to get that lens or something similar for a trip into the Amazon rain forest later this year. Meanwhile I'm still trying to get used to steadying the monopod while taking a photo; I guess it'll take some practice because thus far I have used only bulky tripods. My only other nit is that the ball head lacks separate controls for vertical and lateral adjustment. On the plus side, however, I discovered that the ball head is removable and can be replaced by a more advanced one that provides more precise control.

Good value
An accessory for every moment. This really is "jam packed with goodies". The case is solidly made and can carry a lot of accessories. When you've got your camera in the case, there are so many accessories that you won't be able to get them all in ! It really does come with pretty well everything that you might need for your action cam.In particular, the monopod/selfie stick is quite robustly made and not sloppy when extended. The mini tripod really is mini, but do not be put off by that. It will support a GoPro sized action cam and is ideal for table top photos or for placing where you can wrap the legs of it around a pole or branch to support the cam for remote shooting. All in all this is an excellent value for money way of buying most, if not all, of the accessories for action cameras. Highly recommended.

Well Built & Versatile
This mini-tripod is also the base of the Ifootage Monopod. Being a beginner filmmaker of sorts, I don't yet have the money to buy a High Hat, or rent gear for all of the shoots I do independently. So when I found this little guy I was hopeful I had found a solution. Thankfully, this was greater than I expected. It's not ideal for moving shots with it's ball head, but locked off it's exactly what I needed. The material, design, and built quality are top notch. I've never adjusted the tightness/resistance of a ballheaded tripod that felt so smooth and secure, and the quick release design is awesome when you need to swap on and off over and over. This is one of those things that are made so well that you can't help but enjoy using it.

Superior underwater videos
This camera is durable and lives up to the name “waterproof.” I put it under a 60 ft. waterfall for at least 3 complete minutes of direct impact. My monopod almost got knocked out of my hand from the current, but this GoPro kept doing it’s job. It’s one tough little camera. The stabilization is what makes each video great. I’ve purchased knock-off brands that don’t offer that and their videos will make you motion sick. The image quality is also great. As you can see in these pictures from my videos, I saw several fish and even an eastern hellbender, which is rare (not pictured). Previously, I had used my phone in a waterproof case and the quality was good but not superior like the GoPro.This GoPro is my new favorite camera without question.

It has done the job well
I didn't want to break the bank but I still wanted to be able to get some action cam footage of some mountain bike trail riding while in Kauai. This allowed me to do that and keep the price respectable. I experimented with the helmet mount, handlebar mount and chest mount. All worked well but my preference became the chest mount for a first person feel to the ride videos. The assortment of adapters and extension offer a lot of options to get just the right set up you are looking for.The monopod worked well for getting better perspective on the views during hikes (and of course for those "See I am really here" selfies). the float handle worked well during my daughters snorkeling sessions. The minimal downsides are that some of the pieces feel a little iffy on durability but for the price if I get a couple years use out of most of it then it is worth it.

This combo-package seems like a no-brainer
This combo-package seems like a no-brainer. It's an incredible deal compared to the name-brand attachements that are sold individually. It arrived on time in the mail which was great, and after some close inspection all the parts seem just as durable and reliable as any of the more expensive attachments. The floaty handle is a great idea! The only thing that seems a bit flimsy is the telescoping monopod/selfie stick. It is metal, but it's thin metal and if you whacked it hard on something it might dent- but for the price I think it's definitely worth it.I have used the head-mount and it's really comfortable and stays in place very well. The inside of the straps have nice grippy material. I haven't tried out the chest strap or suction cup mount yet, but I will update my review when I do. So far, things seem promising!
