 I researched drones for several weeks before deciding on this one for my 7 year old son. This one went on sale for the holidays so I grabbed it at a great price. Every drone requires some finessing when calibrating and connecting the remote. We were able to get it connected after working with it about 10-15 minutes the first time. Once you get the hang of it, it’s easy to set it up each time you want to fly it. My son is easily able to fly it with the remote. I will say my phone won’t fit on the remote with the case on my phone (iPhone X) so be aware of that.The drone comes in a great carrying/storage case. It does not come with an SD card. We bought one separately. I think we made a great purchase! Very happy so far.

Here's a review from someone who has never flown a drone before. I am impressed but there is a learning curve and you have to get past the fear crashing your $600 toy into something and turning into an expensive pile of junk.First advice. Watch some videos on how to fly first. There is very little about this that is intuitive even if you are tech oriented. Even turning the darn thing on is a challenge. Press once, lift, press again and hold. Huh? I guess this is to guard against accidentally turning it on and draining the battery. The instructions that come with it are very bare bones and pretty much useless since the text is so tiny it resembles ant tracks. Go to the DJI site and download the more extensive instructions in PDF form. Much easier.First flight is intimidating but relatively easy once you watch the videos and know what to expect. There are auto take off and auto landing options, which are much appreciated, and the drone just hovers if you do nothing, which is pretty safe. Fly low around your yard or open parking lot first to get a hang of the controls. It is easy to fly but smooth control takes practice. The next challenge: Learning to fly by camera view instead of just watching the drone. This is essential since the drone is small, it pretty much disappears once it gets more than a f hundred feet away from you. Find a big open area with no trees or power lines and learn to fly via camera view. When all else fails, a return home button on the controller will get you home. Just make sure you set the return to home altitude high enough to avoid trees, power lines and buildings on the return flight.The app and controller are very good, giving you quick access to essential camera controls. Single shots, video start and stop all have dedicated buttons on the controller. There is also a little wheel on the controller that gimbals the camera view up or down. The app provides all the essential information, including power remaining, altitude, speed and distance from takeoff. A small map in the corner call also be pulled up to full screen which shows exactly where your drone isI am still in the early learning stages but am very impressed so far. This thing has some amazing capabilities. I look forward to becoming an accomplished drone pilot and videographer.

Never flown a drone before and it was really easy to fly. Of course i ran into a ton of stuff but thats just how it goes. It is really fun to buzz around the house. Picture quality isnt super smooth but probably because i am very new to flying these things. Still fun to buzz around people and take pics or videos.

It is a little bit complicated to get to know on the fly. So as I have seen many note get to know before you use it. The noise canceling is good and the sound quality is clear and crisp

If the thing you want the button to press isn’t lower or has about a 1/4” space between the button and switch it will completely miss or won’t open completely. The button is more like a ramp opening and closing. I’ve seen cheaper devices than this that have an actual extended arm and actually presses down on the button rather than the open close ramp mechanism. Biggest disappointment, you can’t give it smart commands without its own hub. That pretty much defeats the entire purpose of this device I think it’s so stupid you need a hub to add to your already home hub to give this a command . So I need a smart device to make my smart device smart ? Ridiculous. I thought that’s what this was for smh . Wouldn’t buy again .

When I received the goggles I found no instructions on how to change the lens. Unfortunately, a lot of things I have ordered have come that way. Since I have not actually used the goggles I can not give a critique on how they work. To be honest, if I could have seen them before ordering I would not have ordered them. So since I have them, for what will I use them? Probably will use them when mowing grass.

Very easy to install. Read the directions and before you know it your done

Easy to fly. Harder to figure out how to use waypoint flying if you never have before. I am sure I will figure it out with practice.
