Out of the box it looks the part. It wasn't plug and play for me. I had to putz around with windows settings a bit for it to work. After that its a very good webcam. It reproduces images and colors brilliantly. The app that it runs is intuitive and very easy to use. I had an older Logitech webcam that I loved so when I saw this on Vine I jumped on it. So far so good but it has a way to go before I love it. What I am absolutely appalled at is the price. $199.00. Really Logitech 4K Ultra Webcam $199.00? Not nice. Cost ya a star.

I don't have much experience with webcams, but I was aware that my built-in webcam on my laptop was terrible. No matter what light source was in the room, the webcam was always dark and fairly grainy (though I didn't realize how grainy it was until I tried out this Wansview webcam). I recently enrolled in online courses where tests are taken while a proctor observes through the usage of an external webcam. This webcam met all of their requirements and had great reviews, so it seemed like a good option. I haven't had it more than a week and haven't gotten to test it out in an actual exam yet, but I did use it for a Zoom meeting this past week and was super impressed with its performance. As I mentioned before, I don't know what a "good" webcam is, but I do know what a bad webcam is from using my laptop's internal one so many times. This Wansview webcam showed me just how terrible my old webcam was. The clarity is so much better. It still looks like a webcam image, but it's much sharper than what I was originally working with. The thing I was really surprised with iwas its ability to capture light. I first tried out the webcam in a room without the light on, but you never would have known that for how bright the image appeared. This webcam doesn't automatically focus, but I wanted that when I purchased it. Because I have to make sure the proctor can always properly see my driver's license up close as well as me testing farther away, I thought being able to focus it myself would be beneficial to ensure the proctor always has a clear image. It's probably not as easy as one that has auto-focus, but I like that I'm able to turn the camera knob on the front and immediately change the focus. Overall, I'd say this webcam definitely fits the bill for a proctoring webcam!

I needed a newer webcam that was affordable and had great clarity. I’m so glad I chose this one.

The video is clear, the camera is effective in low light, the microphone picks up clear sound and the price is right. In my opinion this is a high performance Webcam that is well worth the expenditure. The webcam attaches securely to the top of the monitor, because it has enough weight to so. My other Webcam was too light and fell off the monitor if it was bumped even slightly, so this well-designed feature was pleasantly surprising. The majority of reviewers on Amazon steered me in the right direction, and I am glad to have followed their advice.

This webcam is a lot better than Logitechs 1.3 MP offerings...sos much so that everyone in the family that has the 1.3 MP is disappointed.

This webcam works great! The software integrates the camera into the computer well. So far I have enjoyed using this product.
