A nice set of uncoated filters...
These neutral density filters are made from optically clear polycarbonate. They're not coated, so internal reflections and glare can be a problem, especially if you are shooting an image with the sun in the frame. As long as you take that into consideration, these work fine and are an excellent value. They're not advertised as a coated filter, so I won't ding them for not being coated...but they're also not priced in that category. They come with a nylon carrying case and a soft polishing cloth. This set of filters was provided by the manufacturer as a review sample.

K&N should strenghten the filter head
Filter is good, the wrench is not strong enough, I installed twice this filter to my 2005 Chrysler 300 Limited, second time, the socket has stripped of the filter head before filter is released. I had to use traditional filter wrench with some help of rubber band to hold the filter in the wrench. K&N should strengthen the filter structure.

Special effects camera filter made with high quali
This is a very nice camera filter from a reputable company. It is made of high quality optical glass with nanometer, multi-coating layers of ultra-thin and ultra-light materials. The frame is very light and small compared to the other filters I have for my camera. This is a special effects filter primarily for portraits to soften the details of your subject. This is a 1/4 diffusion/mist filter and the changes from a normal, non-filtered lens, are minimal. K&F makes this same filter in lesser and greater strengths (i.e., 1/8, 1/2). So you have to decide what diffusion level you want for your specific studio shoot/setting. I thought 1/4 was a good place to start experimenting with this type of effect. This filter also included 3 nice sized microfiber cleaning cloths. (It would have been nice if there were in a resealable/reusable bag though.) The price is very good considering you are getting a high-quality, multi-coated glass filter from a good company. In my different experimental shots, I think this filter has a lot of potential for portraits and still-life. I'm also wanting to try it out on macro shots.

Serviceable
Fits perfect with my Nikon 70-300mm lens. The effect created by the filter is exactly what I expected, although I am no expert photographer. I will note that the filter does have tiny imperfections visible by naked eye when held at a certain angle to the light. These imperfections are located in one of the inner layers and cannot be cleaned or whatever. I have not notice this impact any of my shots, and they cannot be seen in photographs. Still, I know they are there and they bother me.

Great Lens Filter for the Money! Makes filming in
Great lens filter for the money. I did some research before I jumped right in to buying a cheaper one and the reviews all pointed toward the Tiffen. So far it has not let me down. I would definitely suggest it to any other filmmakers having problems with that blinding mid day sun.

Great for UV/Protection and pretty slim
I usually avoid any kind of filter on my lenses (except maybe an ND filter or polarizer, if the situation arises...), but when I bought some of my most expensive lenses, I cared enough about the front element, which I tend to beat up, that I finally bought a couple of these 77mm filters.I didn't want to spend a ton of money on my filters, but I didn't want to affect image performance on my $1500+ lenses by slapping on a cheap non-coated or single-coated filter either. This Hoya filter fits perfectly in the middle; the filter not only performs perfectly (in my use so far) and is priced reasonably, but also keeps the professional look (due to the quality of the coatings) on the front of the lens--a little bit of a muted grey color, rather than a shiny reflection like I see on many cheaper filters.

First ND Filter
I used this to take long exposure photos. I took photos with a shutterspeed of 30 seconds to smooth out moving water. Coming from a non-professional, it did what I wanted it to do but I did have to edit my photos in Lightroom to get the colors I wanted. My camera was unable to auto focus nor was I able to see through the filter to manually focus my lens so I kept on having to screw the filter on and off which is really annoying. If I knew that would have been a problem, I would have purchased one of those square ND filters that you can easily slide over the lens.

Great UV-Filter by Vivitar
There isn't a whole lot to say about this filter, it's just perfect for what it is - and an incredible bargain...I needed a protective filter, 77mm diameter and I took a chance on this from Vivitar. - The one thing I can do with any filter is check if it is "flat" and I do that by making "sun spots" - reflecting the sun into some shadow area as far away as I reasonably can, onto some plain, light wall or whatever and I want to see a circular and symmetrical "fuss-ball" with no "funny artifacts" and that's what I got...from both sides of the glass...so it's a "quick'n'dirty" check for flatness...But the best test - and the reason I got this second filter from Vivitar - was some shots taken with the full moon as light source of a scenery that included many bright street lights, with a very wide angle lens...if there were problems - this is where they should have presented themselves, but there were none. Both lens and this filter performed perfectly - no glares or reflection where you really could have expected some...so, there is nothing to complain about.Add to that that the metal ring, holding the glass is very thin, yet solid and well made and you've got "Five Stars"....
