A handy set of 52mm filters and excellent value for money.
Back in the dim and distant past, I became very keen on photography, even to the point of doing an ‘O’ level. I learnt all about the relationship between F-stop and shutter speed, film speeds, dark room techniques, depth of field and filter effects. Then the digital revolution happened and I put away my treasured indestructible Pentax SV, the last roll of film still undeveloped (I wonder what’s on there…). After a number of digital cameras I finally progressed onto a DSLR (a Nikon D3100) with a couple of lenses (18mm-55mm and 55mm-200mm).Now, thanks to the generosity of the nice people at K&F Concept, I received this set of filters to play with in return for an honest review. All have a standard 52mm double thread but, as with all filters, be careful stacking them as you will inevitably get some vignetting at shorter focal lengths (with theUV filter, the polariser and the lens hood there was significant cut-off at 18mm).This set comprises:A simple UV filter / lens protector which, as far as I can tell is no different from the more expensive Hoya Pro item I generally have on both of my lenses.A circular polariser which, in my view, is the most useful filter in the enthusiast’s bag; it cuts haze, deepens the sky colour and reduces reflections. The filter rotates in its mount to allow the effect to be maximised according to your requirements, but I didn’t find it as versatile as the old fashioned optical camera two layer linear polarisers which, unfortunately, confuse DSLR’s autofocus. That notwithstanding, the effect of the filter is noticeable but I would have liked a knurled ring on the filter to facilitate the rotation; I often felt like I was unscrewing the filter (although I wasn’t).An FLD filter to negate that horrible green colour cast you get with fluorescent lighting. I haven’t tried this one yet but, given the filter’s colour, I’ve no doubt that it significantly warms the colour temperature.A dense neutral density filter. This is great when the camera is set for aperture priority to reduce the shutter speed, blurring any motion in the scene such as moving cars at dusk and waterfalls. Real arty stuff and an amazing effect if you’re used to the usual frozen action created by the default camera settings. However, a tripod and using the self timer are essential to reduce camera shake.A flower petal lens hood which is handy for reducing flare when shooting towards the sun. It is not too bulky and works well but it makes getting the lens cap on and off a bit fiddly. Finally, a centre pinch lens cap. This is an advance on my Nikon equivalent as it has a loop and keeper to enable it to be attached to the camera strap – a vast improvement over putting the cap in your pocket and/or dropping it.This little set is an excellent introduction to the world of photographic filters to the budding photographer and occasional use amateur; good quality filters and excellent value for money.

Amazing value for the price. It really works.
With the wide angle lens is that we can get closer to the subject. That allows for less shake and more detail. It really works. With a steady hand you can really improve your ipod touch photos. There is a bit of a fish eye effect but for our purposes it works much better than the ipod without the lens. We certainly have much better picture quality with this product and the side by side comparisons are amazing. Now, the unexpected part is the macro lens. The macro lens with the ipod is incredible. The ipod completely sucks at taking macro shots but when you unscrew the outer lens on this puppy suddenly macro shots are incredible even with the ipod's less than desireable camera. Other bonuses include: it works with our case! Yes! it works with our otter case. We don't have to take the ipod out to use it. It is insanely easy to install. Just clip it on. The flash device works good too (although it does not work with our otter case). It even comes with a nice little case for the lens. The bottom line is that this thing is an amazing value. I couldn't be more pleased.

Great, inexpensive straps to keep from losing your lens protective caps. For the cost, cannot beat them. Attach to the lens with an elastic strap; attaches to the lens cap with a small sticky button. Holds the cap well.

Better Than The Original
This lens cap fits tighter than the one that came with the camera. I have a D3500. Laid down the original cap and forgot to retrieve it. But happy outcome that this one is easier to put on and take off and has a slightly better fit. Seems sturdy enough.

Very rarely write reviews but ..........
Wish I had bought this head first as it makes set up for a photograph really quick and easy. previous one needed three different adjustments, this is just so simple on the ball head and holds it rock solid - needs to be with £5,000 worth of camera and lens on it.

A good, small, 4k camera with manual focus zoom le
This camera is a small 1.5 inch cube with a lens that sticks out another 1.5 inches or so. The lens is an optical zoom with manual focus and iris/f-stop adjustment like a DSLR has. Low light sensitivity is also very good, it can produce a pretty good image in a dark room using just the light from your computer screen and will look really good if the room is normally lit. I've used it with OBS and with video conferencing software like teams and zoom.Because it has manual focus it is best for subjects that are not moving forward and back too much. It would also be really good as an overhead camera looking down at your desk for product demo shots.Since it is a very small camera, it has another nice use. I have a large 43 inch monitor and putting a webcam above it or below it leads to a pretty unflattering shot either looking up my nose or down on me from above. Because this camera is so small you can put it on a little monopod right in front of the center of your screen. Then you put your videoconferencing window behind it. This lets you be looking right into the camera at a natural angle and still be able to see everyone on the screen. It's a very good setup. You should understand a few things that are different from a typical PC webcam. The lens has manual focus/zoom/iris adjustments and there is no built in microphone. I don't consider these negatives because this lens will get you nice clear shots compared to the tiny lenses on most webcams, just remember you have to adjust it by hand. Lack of a mic is not a big deal either, most webcam microphones are not very good and put too far away. For the best sound get a clip on or desktop mic, even a really cheap one will make you sound a lot better just because it is closer to your face!A couple of other important points, these are not negative, just telling you what to expect.- When set to wide angle, this has a bit of a fish-eye look similar to an action cam, zoomed in you don't see it.- The little handles on the focus/zoom ring are also setscrews, if the lens rings don't move easily, just loosen these a bit. When you have settings you like just tighten them down again to lock the setting.- Some focus settings can bring the front of the lens far enough forward to touch the lens cap. So before putting the lens cap on, adjust the focus so the lens isn't all the way forward.- When you adjust the zoom you will also have to refocus.Even if you don't livestream or video conference in 4k, the extra resolution lets you crop the image without losing detail. With 4k, software like Nvidia broadcast can zoom in on your face and track you as you move, creating a 1080p output with no loss of details.Great little camera for conferencing or product shots. The adjustable lens lets you get good shots in many more situations and the 4k resolution is great.

So impressive for the money spent.
I'm really new to photography so maybe it wouldn't take much to impress me but I know what I like to see in pictures. I started out with the 18-135 EFS lens that came with my video creator kit for the Canon EOS 80D and I thought it was pretty great and was versatile. I bought the EF-S 24mm 2.8 lens next and felt like it was an interesting step up for a wider angle view and faster lens. This past weekend I bought the EF 50mm 1.8 at a local camera store. I started taking pictures in the house in low light of the kids and the dogs and was blown away by what I started getting. This lens is so awesome for a beginner. I started playing with the aperture and shutter speeds and then ran outside around sunset and played around in the yard shooting pictures of the sun through the trees and bushes. The pictures I've been getting using this have really inspired me to try different things and experiment. I'd say get this lens and the 24mm 2.8 if you're starting out. It's really easy to get some great stuff out of this lens.

Lens cap holders are great. Cloth is useless.
Useful little lens cap holder. The sticky pad is about 12mm across so should fit most lens caps. Nice to have a pack of five so I can put on on each lens. The cloth isn't very good - sheds little hairs - but I was only buying this for the lens cap holders anyway.

Great little tripod
Great little tripod, exactly what I wanted. Legs extended measure @ 7 inches to the mounting pad. Legs retracted measure 4.375 inches.Given that it has lots of height variables, depending on what camera I mount on it. A Sony A5000 with short lens will generally be fitted on this mini tripod. The knurled lock ring mounting base tightens securely and easily. The side mounted lock key grips well and prevents my camera from drooping on its own when the camera is mounted up or down lens angle. Generally good quality construction, no sharp edges and no plastic. Best to use a remote shutter release. The tripod could be easily fit in my vest pocket. Highly recommended, very pleased. Great price too.
