I shoot a lot of real estate but could never get good elevated shots without using a drone. I just couldn't find a stand that was tall enough for my mirrorless camera that I would trust. Took a chance on this one and am glad I did! It is very heavy duty. Even extended the full height I felt my camera was secure up in the air. I rigged up a little safety strap at the top which is always a good idea especially if you are using a rather expensive camera. The base is very side providing a ton of stability. You can see how thick the tubes are in the photo with my thumb in the picture for scale and I have rather large hands. Everything is metal here, no cheap plastic parts. The air cushioning brings everything down nice and slow so even if you have a heavy bit of gear up in the air it won't come crashing down.It's not cheap at $199 but if you are putting a camera or other expensive gear 16 feet up in the air the last thing you want to do is cheap out! Once you hold this in your hands you can feel the high quality and sturdy build. If this was sold by a well known manufacturer I have no doubt it would be at least twice the price.

If you've been into FPV for a few years now, you'll know that the major brand had a cube design which was perfect for FPV. A few months later. RunCam came with a cubed design only to be stopped by patents I believe so they could not sell in America. Come today, I finally get my hands on the most sought after design in a camera for basically any action sport.It's lite, built tough, and small yet can record beautifully! I haven't tested out much for the battery yet but since they taken away wifi and a screen, well see how long it lasts.Has no wifi nor screen. So to set it up, you do via your phone or tablet, do whatever settings you want, than double tap the top button on the camera than point the camera at your phone when the QR code comes up than it'll scan and save the settings! Pretty cool.Major brand assecories do in fact fit, HOWEVER, the button do not line up so, for instance, you put this cam into the underwater case, you'll need to take it out to press record and stop. Not a big deal. Just be known.I love the bright orange. If you drop your drone or quad, it should be easier to spot.I just wish there was wifi so you could see how your cam is angled and what not. But than again, saves on the battery.

I purchased this Remali action camera through my wife's Amazon account so I could take advantage of her Prime membership. So far after one day of playing with it, I can say I'm really happy. I was surprised to get an email from them reminding me to remove the protective plastic from the lenses. I had read the reviews on this item so I didn't really need it, but I understand why. I actually purchased this camera specifically to use on my new drone that I got for Christmas and with a little tweeking it fits perfectly into the camera gimbal mount. I've tested the cameras functionality and it does take great pictures and video. The only issues I have had with any of this great deal was one of the larger retaining straps the plastic locking tab in the buckle broke. Not a huge deal, as I will probably never use them anyway. Also, some of the joints included with this "extras package" can't be fully tightened and allow the camera to flop around. Perhaps some thin tightening shims would work well for this problem.In conclusion:pros: Good camera for a good price. Lots of great extras. 3 batteries. A double charging station. Great customer service.cons: The quality of the included extras could improve, "ever so slightly", without affecting the price.Still earns a five star rating from me, and I would purchase this product again.

I have had this now for a few days and I'm really enjoying it there only a few things that would make it better but for the price it's fine. First thing is and someone else made a comment about it and that is the buttons for the camera tilt could be in better position than on the back and also I found when using it it dose not move smoothly. The next thing is and this is just me but I wish the read out for height and distant on the controller could be changed from meters to feet, if there is a way I have not found how to, I was born in the USA and back in day when I went to school we never learn the metric system. The drone is easy to set up and only takes me a few minutes to be up and flying depending on how fast it locks on to the satellites which is normally pretty fast. Battery life for me been about 15 minutes give or take on one battery and that's fine for me. The last thing is and the manual don't tell you is to make sure you remove the plastic protect tape from the camera lens your photos and videos will look a lot better just keep the lens clean by blowing it off with a little air then wiping it down with a microfiber cloth.

I give this camera 5 stars based on how good the videos look, as compared to what you pay for the camera. I compared this to the 200.00 dollar(at the time) Sony AS15, and this was actually BETTER, which was both astounding, and sad to me.Auto White Balance and color rendition:I found the color reproduction in this camera to be excellent! Especially for the price! There generally are few errors in auto white balance, with the exception of coming out of heavy back lighting.Video Detail:Video detail is actually great! It is amazing that this camera that is so cheap can do such a suitable job of creating a video without major compression artifacts apparent, that ends up having great detail. It doesn't compare to my GoPros, but if you are looking for something cheap for video only, this is a good choice!Still Photos:I really wouldn't bother with these. Photo stills from this camera are generally very poor, with flat highlights, and few details. I guess okay if you want a record of events, but nothing people would enjoy viewing..Sound Quality:Nothing you would probably find useable, except as I said as a record. It is muffled, and not very good.Summary:For the money, and excellent camera to mount on a drone... Faccio la recensione dopo un anno di uso, mi piace fare fotografie quindi non voglio cose che mi occupino le mani e questa cam è ottima appesa al petto con il suo medaglione magnetico per girare video POV ed inoltre permette riprese praticamente impossibili con altre action cam.PRO: piccola e leggerissima, passa quasi inosservata durante le riprese, buona qualità d'immagine per un uso social (io ci faccio video per il mio canale YT), orizzonte sempre livellato, stabilizzazione eccezionale (ma dovete passare per la sua app), facili riprese stile drone dove è impossibile volare con l'uso dei bastoni telescopici)DIFETTI: batteria dura poco quando fuori dal suo guscio di ricarica, in modalità normale MAX 10-15 minuti di ripresa prima di scaldarsi e spegnersi per protezione - file molto pesanti in modalità ProVideo e ci vuole molto per scaricarli anche quando collegate la cam direttamente al PC con cavo - microfoni non adatti al VLOG personale (si sentono discretamente solo quando la cam è appesa al petto)Ottimo servizio clienti in caso di difetti ma la dovete spedire in Germania
