Perfect quality and fit
Perfect quality and fit. I did proactively use a very light application of Vaseline to be sure they don't seize up but that's on me.None were out of round or otherwise incorrect. All pieces were received in separate plastic slip covers which was appreciated. So no chance of them showing up already seized up. Packaging was correct for the product. I would buy from this merchant again.Job well done!

Great quality compact monocular
I had been looking for a small, lightweight monocular for our upcoming trip to Alaska. This one is perfect for our needs because it is a very small, durable high quality product and works well for our purposes. We have heavy binoculars which we leave at home while we are hiking because they are bulky. The Roxant was the answer to our problem. We will not be tempted to leave it at home. Since we received it we have been taking it down to the beach on our daily walks. The sailboats and the birds are so much closer. Now my husband would like to have one.

Great for beginner astronomy/ star gazing.
Heavier side but excellent quality. I didn't trust the harness that cane with it so I got the Vortex optics Vino harness that held these 4 lbsnder well hands free.I will most certainly recommend heavy duty tripod with pan and tilt mechanisms since I cannot hold them steady for long duration and I am not the weakest person. Jupiter ( bright spot) and its moons(tiny dots) are clearly visible. Saturn and Venus appear as bright spots. Lot of different constellation visible even in light pollution. I wear glasses and have no issues with these. Craters on moon will leave you breathless. I use these with my Pentax 10x50s to scan the Sky. I narrow down the object with Pentax binoculars because those have wide field of view due to lower magnification. Then I use these to observe more details. Get a good quality tripod where you can mount binoculars to avoid back pain. I though prefer for tripod less long duration viewing simply due to light weight. Note that these are not water resistant but that's okay since one cannot view the stars in rain.

Nice for the price!
Received my order today, (1 day earlier than expected), of the Celestron SkyMaster 15X70 binoculars. They were nicely packed in their box and could hardly wait to see how well they worked compared to my older Bushnell 10X42 pair. They really are heavier but that's understandable since they are considerably larger in length and seem to be well built for the price. I paid $69 and FREE 2-day shipping and it was worth it! They definitely bring in objects closer and require a steady hold because of the higher magnification. I do have a camera tripod I might try and use in the next few days to see how that helps. Of course it comes with the tripod adapter as they mentioned and also a manual explaining some basic info. Also a strap and case. (The strap for the binoculars is a little cheap and holding that weight around your neck needs a wider, padded one but can't really complain since the binoculars work great out of the box) Happy I never had issues with the focus and the other issues people mention sometimes with a cheaper end binocular. I purchased these for two reasons. One is to see if I can spot aircraft flying at 40,000 ft because I currently am enjoying a app that is also on the Internet called PlaneFinder. It's interesting to say the least. The other reason is for looking at stars, etc. I suggest working out with some arm weights if you plan on holding these for long periods of time. It seems like it gets easier the more you use them. I recommend these to anyone with a tight budget. I'm sure there are better quality brands out there but why spend hundreds of dollars unless you plan on using them everyday? These will do just fine for the average person and even a professional. Buy them at this price and you won't be sorry. If you can find them cheaper then even better! Just make sure what you are buying.

Well-thought-out serviceability
I was looking for an alternative to low-cost, expendable, binoculars to leave in my truck. I've owned two pair and have used 3-4 friends' low-cost binocs. Aside from the compromises in quality I expect with bottom of the range gear, I never can get a comfortable alignment between right and left. Hence, I purchased the Wingspan 12x50 monocular. my first impression was of the impressive light gathering capacity of the 50mm ocular. The tight smoothness of the focusing mechanism is first rate. Focus was as sharp as my Nikon Monarchs binoc. For a 12x instrument, shake was not an issue. I attribute this impression to the 50mm ocular diameter (wider field of view). Regardless, it has a tripod mount. No complaints.

Good for the price
I bought these for the extra power; took a chance on a friend's recommendation, plus, the Celestron name. To save you further reading - these are not in the same class as Celestron telescopes I've owned in the past.Plus side - the optics are clear and the alignment of the prisms is surprisingly sharp.Negatives - only one - the lack of quality multi-coating on the lenses yields far more fringing than is found in higher priced Nikon binoculars. It can be overlooked, but I found it annoying, distracting, and overall, objectionable in a viewing device of this caliber.

A handy assistant for you when you travel and carr
I am very happy with the scope. I purchased it to keep by my lounge chair to watch birds at my feeder. I know them all by sight, but as I age. I also started to travel now I am retired and I find carrying a camera and binoculars is cumbersome. This scope if a fine instrument and the optics are quality addition. I would recommend the monocular to anyone who is interested in assisting your sight, and I'm happy with the one hand operation. A very handy tool for travel.
