Compact outside, cavernous inside.
Terrific backpack and ideal for my kit. The only niggle I can find is the positioning of the chest straps which lie across my throat due to shoulder straps being quite short. That said,, I find the advantages outweigh this small criticism.

Must have for your camera
I've had this strap for several years now and absolutely love it. The thick padded shoulder straps easily support the weight of my full frame DSLR + 70-200mm lens. The second strap is essential for events when I need to carry a second camera. The second camera hangs nicely at my side while using the other camera. Switching between cameras takes less than a second (literally). When exploring the world and I only need one camera, unhook the straps and just take one strap with you.the pockets on the straps are just the right size to hold several SD cards or spare camera batteries. The straps that the camera connects to are easily adjustable to have your camera(s) hang at the height you need.

Perfect for the job
I bought a Black Rapid shoulder harness for hiking with the camera(s), which I love. I realized, however that using the harness system is great for dedicated photography jaunts, but sometimes you just want to pick up the camera and go. So I bought the Op-tech strap and these extra short straps for a second camera body. These short straps stay on the camera at all times, snapped together. They fit snugly and out of the way across the top or pushed slightly forward or back. When I want to use the standard over-the-neck-strap from Op-tech, I just snap it on these straps and go. The Op-tech straps are inexpensive, well made and nicely cushioned. Now I can have it either way - strap or harness.

Great product but not the model I need
I was super excited to get this & it was fantastic quality & all was 100% as advertised but the fit wasn't for me, I wish this model had the 2 shoulder straps. Thus ive returned and am now eagerly awaiting the other model that's got 2 shoulder straps. If I had tons of money I might have kept both. This one would certainly be fine for my morning nature walks but it didn't feel like I'd enjoy it on long hikes.

Great value
For an amateur photographer, this provides all the functionality I need and then some. I use it to hold the camera steady while I photograph the moon, stars and planets. Comes with a handy carrying sleeve so you can sling across your shoulder.

Save your neck!
I carry two cameras (one with a middle zoom and one with a long zoom) when photographing wildlife in order to respond quickly to changing opportunities without having to take time to change lenses. With one of these straps on each camera I can quickly and easily lift, focus and shoot without delay and not suffer the significant discomfort of straps around my neck. Shoulder carry is the best way to go and these straps are cost effective and excellent choices.

How Did I Hike Without It?
This allows me to have my camera accessible while hiking. I have tried to hike with the camera around my neck on a strap but the camera swung from side to side. The other option was to pack the camera slowing down the group every time I wanted a photo. This puts the camera in easy, yet secure reach. I saw complaints about the fit on thicker straps, but if you take your time to attach it with the longer screws, it fits just fine. Mine is on an Osprey Eja 48 pack which has very thick shoulder straps.

Much better than a traditional camera strap
Very comfortable compared to traditional camera straps. Easy to adjust, barely even notice the weight of the camera on your shoulder.

Functions as Advertised, Mostly.
I think this is something every photo enthusiast should have. My only complaint is that it should be designed to fit larger shoulder straps. It fits the smallest section of my backpack shoulder straps near the bottom of my rib cage. It would be much more comfortable and out of the way if it fit higher up on my chest.
