Carol is making consistently good vocal microphones for a fraction of what the competitors charge. This particular microphone has built-in circuitry to sort out noise. Although the microphone is the same high-quality as most Carol microphones, you have to be a little careful with this microphone. If you set the settings for the bass and middle too high and the treble too low, you end up with a kind of a muddy sound. Most microphones you don’t want to bring those up anyway. This microphone is good for lower voices, like mine. But again you’re going to need to watch the settings, everything at 12 o’clock is probably the best. For the money you cannot beat this microphone. It’s well-made, durable, and the sound is comparable to my more expensive microphones. The package comes with a cable which is OK. But also includes an excellent clip to hold the mic to a stand.

I bought this microphone for my 12 year old. She loves to record herself singing. She said the microphone works great. Perfect if you clip it to your shirt and don’t put it too close to your mouth if you choose to hold it.

One could thing a cheap microphone will do the same job and a good one, but that is far from the truth. I was using my webcam included microphone for video conferencing, and people on the other side had trouble listening to me because the poor microphone quality.Then I tried the JBL quantum, and it was an instant improvement. Certainly, its marketed for streaming, but it will feel like home on a conference desk. You can use it to listen only to the front of the microphone (180 degrees), or (in 360 mode) to everyone around. A light indicator shows when its active (green) and when its muted (red). The mute/unmute button its located on the top. A gentle tap changes between modes. Front knob increases or decreases the volume of the microphone output. The lighting its customizable with a ton of user defined (RGB) colors, and the sound it's also customizable via in-app equalizer.The low current requirements allow you to connect it directly to an USB port or through an USB hub.I would say the only thing missing here to make it the absolute perfection, it's an on-mic level indicator. Other than that, solid microphone, excellent build quality and great sound makes this microphone a winner.

The microphone itself is great, the sound is goodI like the simple set upIf you need to hear yourself for any reason while you use it with zero letency, in my experience with microphones so far, it is really hard to make that work with software through the pc, unless it is built in to your soundcard or microphone.I would not recommend this for singing, or voice overs where you would like to hear yourself in real time.If you know that you will not want to listen to yourself with zero latency, it should work fine, the microphone works just as good as my other microphone in the same price range.

Such an amazing camera! Great quality! Not the best microphone in the waterproof case, but definitely worth it!

Cons: The pop filter does not want to stay in place. The clamp is made of inferior metal.Sound quality is good. It is a good start for Zoom or other applications requiring a microphone. You can swing the microphone out of sight while streaming or chatting.

Our kids love the microphone because it does just what they expect a microphone to do- it allows them to sing/talk louder, changes the way their voice sounds and even plays music through the bluetooth so they can sing to their favorite songs.
