I bought this for extra illumination to read piano scores. But I found it to be very useful for other activities such as a night lamp, and in the kitchen. It’s portability, especially with the clamp, you can attach it almost anywhere with 3 types of illumination settings . Good product for its price.

Takes good pictures. However, when you extend the lens to its max, all you see is blur.

This was the best price I've found for this type of camera. It's also the only one I've seen with a fully metal case. It appears to be made of aluminium with an aluminum back plate.The lens focus is adjustable by loosening the lock ring and screwing the lens in or out, then tightening the lock ring again to keep it from moving.A connection cable is included. Instead of a typical 3-wire servo/receiver style connector, mine came split so that it could also be used for other connection types (connecting to a receiver would still work by just including the yellow connector along with the red/black power connector, since they're the same standard size). This is handy for me, since I plan to use this camera in my rc car as well as quadcopter.

The GoPro HERO5 Black was an exceptional purchase for a multitude of reasons. Considering its relatively high price, this camera provides high quality footage and photographs. Comparative to older versions of GoPro, this camera is very similar but has high resolution and stability features. If price is an issue one would recommend buying an older version because several of the features are exactly the same. This camera is phenomenal because of its long battery life, high storage capabilities (with a SD card), and endurance for outdoor activities. It is convenient to transport which makes it easy to bring while traveling, hiking, swimming, and most types of adventuring. Purchasing this camera with a body mount is the best way to approach using this device in my opinion. The mount ensures further stability and latches on to make sure you won't drop or lose the camera. Overall, the settings are versatile, and its waterproof exterior protects it from conditions that other cameras would not function in. Depending on the urgency of purchasing this camera, I would recommend waiting until they release the latest model, because there has been a pattern of prices dropping on older models as soon as a new one comes out. The somewhat of a fish-eye lens allows for pictures and videos to capture a wider range than most typical cameras do. Seeing further to the left and right enhances almost all shots and allows for more editing options in the go pro software when the media is uploaded on a computer. This camera is extremely user friendly, as are the editing capabilities afterwards.

I just bought this camera after taking advice from my friends. The camera is light weight and got a rich cool look. I took some pictures of the moving and static objects, and both types came out to be very neat and crisp :)

One of my favorite lenses ever. Use it for portraits all the time. Only thing you give up when you get a prime lens is the stability. On this lens there is no option for that. But overall its great!

Nifty 50! Great lens for the money. Some even say its the best bang for the buck! I'd agree!

I had been looking at all types of action cameras. I settled on this one because of its features for the price and I was not disappointed. I’m definitely a beginner so for a pro I don’t know know well it plays but if you’re just starting and don’t want to pay and arm and a leg this camera will not disappoint in my opinion. Tons of features, quality and image stabilization are really good too
