I bought several of these cameras to upgrade an old D-Link set that I’ve had for years. These have much better picture quality and are more reliable. My other set would go offline almost every week and I would have to unplug or reset them. So far I haven’t had that issue with these.

These are perfect to monitor indoor areas they are small and compact

I like the cameras for the price. They have decent pictures and the motion detection is sometimes to good! I have them set on low setting, my house sits a good bit off of the road and they pick up most cars that drive by, which can be annoying. The two cameras I have set facing the street I keep sleeping during the day so they aren't constantly going off. One thing I don't like is I didn't realize after a short period if you wanted certain features you have to pay a monthly fee which if I'd known that I might not would have gone with these cameras, but for the price they are ok other than that. Now I have had these for several months and they aren't very good in my opinion. They were cheap but you get what you paid for. They'll show that you have a certain amount of videos but you can't see them. They are constantly picking up NOTHING so it runs down the battery real fast, in fact lately we've had to charge a couple of them every 3-4 days. And now today we can't even get on any of the four we have and it's not our internet, so it has to be the cameras. I'm ready to just toss these and go buy some better ones, to me it was a waste of my money. Don't WASTE your money, cheaper is not necessarily better!!!

Camera video quality is pretty good. Night vision is adequate. The issue I have is that alerts are rarely sent to my phone. Most of the time I have to open the app to see the camera has been triggered. This defeats the main purpose of the camera in my opinion. Sometimes reinstalling the app works for a short period of time. Due to the unreliability of the alert process, I woulda’t recommend this camera for security purposes. I plan on replacing the 6 I have over a period of time.Updating this camera to 4 stars because Yi appears to have fixed the notification issue. Now have been receiving notifications consistently.

These cameras are easy to set up. The video and sound is clear. Love being able to see and talk to my fur babies while at work.

These are great cameras with great features. I like them so much that I’ve recommended to family and friends.
