Bit steap on price, but fantastic quality!
Easily one of the best adapters I have. Let's me mount more Nikon glass to my fuji than my old D7000 haha. Everything from old school pre ai lenses, to modern autofocus lenses will mount and function perfectly. Only wish it was a bit cheaper.

Good lens but only when stopped down
This is a very good lens offering a useful range of focal lengths. In terms of image quality, the lens does not seem to perform well at wide apertures -- I find I only achieve best results at F11 or better. Otherwise, the build quality and performance are what one would expect from Canon's "L" Series lenses.

It does what it's supposed to do
What more can one say of the product? I dare add that given the anemic battery included with the EOS-M, Canon would have been well served to have made a powered version of this adapter for the EF lenses. Battery life really suffers when mounting Canon's larger offerings on the M using this baby.

This zoom is AMAZING!!!
As all of you "L" users know, the optics on these lenses are just amazing. For those of you looking to buy one of these lenses, this is definitly a good start. This lens is constructed from tank material I'm sure. It not only has superb optics, it also is very fast in low light. The IS is one of the best features, giving you the ability to hand hold the lens in almost any low light situations!! Another beautifully crafted lens from Canon. Canon Rebel XT (2005) Works good!
I purchased this lens from another seller, but wanted to chime in about my experience.I have a very old DSLR, Canon Digital Rebel XT (2005) and I wanted to get a new lens to do some more creative photography. This 50mm works perfectly on this grandpa DSLR. I wanted everyone to know that such an ancient relic can use this lens with no problems. Your young hipster cameras should be just fine, so stop asking.This is a very clear lens, and for the price? Good job Canon. I'll see if amazon will accept a Raw image...nope.Using Lightroom only to convert to JPG. No fiddling with the picture. 1/50 2.8 ISO 200Keep it up with the lenses Canon. Now catch up to Nikon's sensors...

Needs the electronic viewfinder, especially for sh
I bought the electronic viewfinder and it makes all the difference in the world for this camera. Unfortunately it added $218 to the cost. Why didn't Canon make it with an electronic viewfinder and a flip screen in back? I think it would be a 5 star with these additions. I have the camera converted to Infrared (super color) and it works really well for infrared conversion. With the special lens mount, it takes all my Canon lenses and so I am not limited to the two lenses that came with it. Unfortunately, with these other lenses it is much heavier. The camera has a substantial feel to it--it does not feel at all like a cheap point and shoot.
