Good job ROXANT!I received my ROXANT mini monocular a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised. I wanted something small and light that I could easily carry while sightseeing and when I went to theater shows. It meets all the criteria. I never expected that I could put it in a shirt pocket although the case can also be conveniently attached to a belt. It even has a neck strap and a cleaning cloth. Couple that with a great price and you have a winner. I have binoculars for this use but because of size and weight tend to leave them home or forget them. I can take this with me without even noticing it.

Very Handy
I am delighted with my new Roxant Ultra Light Mini Scope. There are so many occasions when I want to view something more closely but don't want to have bulky binoculars along. I have already used the scope to view a nest of baby osprey birds at our beach, and plan to bring it to the next concert I attend so I can view key performers closely. Watching a pianist's hands is a treat that this scope will really enhance.

Economical and Useful
I am a senior citizen and it is really hard for me to lug heavy binoculars around when I go to concerts and stadiums...so I bought this in hopes that it would be lightweight ...and it is ! I won't even feel it in my pocketbook, and the price is right ! The only suggestion I have, is please include instructions for how to attach the neck strap...I had to go to a message board to ask other customers how to get the neck strap on.

Happy medium magnification
I was debating between a wide and high magnification range and ended up going with this mid range magnification. I get the benefits of wide field astro viewing while at the same time being able to see enough detail on large celestial objects like our moon. Paired with a cell phone mount and tripod I've been able to take photos with descent results. They aren't super heavy but should be securely held or mounted on a tripod. The strap included was disappointing however. Would have been better if it was more like a camera strap with some padding. Optics are well made resulting in great images. Eyepieces are comfortable with or without glasses. Photo taken using binoculars with the cellphone mount and tripod.

Works great
As for functionality, this thing works great, nice clear display. It is not meant to be held up to your eyes like binoculars, you just hold it in front of you like watching a little TV. The field of view is fantastic and it actually uses infrared. I saw things pretty clearly that I could not even see an outline of with the naked eye. Really a good value for the price. I have doubts about durability, especially on a hunting trip, it feels like pretty cheap plastic and doubt it will take a drop or bump well but for walking into the woods in the dark then sitting there waiting for the sun to come up during deer season it should to the trick to reveal anything undesirable lurking in my path, at which point I will perform the drop test.

camping along the way and this is the perfect size
I purchased this for my father who is an avid bird watcher and nature enthusiast! They are travelling down the coast of Florida, camping along the way and this is the perfect size to fit in his pocket. I have tried it out here in our back yard forest preserve and was very impressed with the strength of this small lens. The size and the strength make carrying this piece much easier than our binoculars and you can't beat the price! I would highly recommend this mini scope.

Nice quality and affordable
This was purchased for my husbands birthday . He has several sets of binoculars but didn't own a monocular. He really liked the fact that he could hook his phone to the back and take pictures. We haven't tried it at night yet for stars but daytime photos were good. It comes with a strap that hooks to the side so you can slip your hand in and hold it with one hand. My husband really enjoyed the facet that it was easy to carry and not bulky. Highly recommend
