Setup in XP was easy and it worked immediately with Skype. Picture quality seems good (but this is my first webcam, so I cannot compare to others).One problem: for some weird reason, the software prevents Thunderbird from updating itself, so if you use the Thunderbird mailer, you must terminate all webcam processes (including the little icon in the system tray) before doing mailer software updates. This procedure is annoying but not difficult. If the webcam software is running, Thunderbird updates get stuck in an infinite loop.Only in Windows could two apparently unrelated programs interfere like this!

Took a shot at this webcam based on specs, and at the time there were no reviews. So I went in blind and was surprised to find a pretty decent webcam.What drew me in…You could easily spend double and still not find a webcam with 60fps. I don’t know why this is so hard for companies to implement, but you’d be hard pressed to find a 60fps webcam at under $100.I also appreciated the ring light as adding that on could probably cost another webcam in of itself. It has three light settings, but I wouldn’t go past the second brightest setting as brightest setting looks too washed out. Unexpected plusI didn’t expect for this to fit so well on a thin bezel monitor like mine, I have a 28” Samsung UR55 and the mount for webcam was far more adjustable then I first thought, you can adjust clip of mount up to 180˚ and there’s padding on underside to protect top bezel of monitor. The camera itself is also adjustable tilting down at very steep angles.I’m using this webcam on a M1 Mac mini and it was plug-and-play I didn’t have to wait for update, no compatibility issues. It’s turned my Mac mini into an iMac overnight.Only con so far…Theres a privacy cover you flip on with protruding flap at bottom it’s very thin and often times I trip the light setting trying to slide cover on.

Great webcam quality. The mic is pretty good but it does pick up on all of my keyboard clicks (I have a mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Brown switches - so no audible click midway). It's understandable since the keyboard is located between me and the mic. Still love the webcam - it looks great.

There is a shortage of webcams due to coronavirus, so I decided to look at action cams, because I didn't want to spend $120 on a dedicated webcam that usually goes for $40. I looked round a bit and saw the EK7000 as my first option. I looked up some reviews, and saw that the V50x was rated very highly for its price point, so i pulled the trigger here instead. So now i have a webcam and an action cam for less than $120.Webcam functionality works great, but it doesn't automatically go to computer mode when the computer boots up. However, you can just unplug it, and then plug it back in so you can press the computer mode button that appears on the cam display when it turns on. Computer recognizes instantly, with no need to mess with additional software. I use for discord video calls, but it should work for zoom and skype as well.If you're looking for just a usable webcam, maybe get the EK7000, since stabilization doesn't matter as much for a webcam. From videos I've watch online, it works the same way as this one.

I really needed a webcam for zoom and after a month of using this webcam I can happily say that it is amazing. Well, for the price that is. Comparing this to some other high end Logitech webcam obviously would NOT be fair considering how cheap this webcam really is, but would show what you would get for hundreds of dollars more. This is an AMAZING webcam (for the price). It has pretty good auto focus and on zoom from far away it looks really high quality. It is very crisp as shown in the photos (taken on the webcam) and will do its job while in online meetings. I highly recommend this camera and that if you are looking for a good cheap webcam to pick this one!

Great webcam. My last one broke so I needed a webcam really fast for my class lectures. Ordered this and it worked like a charm. The quality was really good. I just plugged in via the usb and it worked. The quality of mic was great everyone can hear me clearly during conference.

This webcam is the best. Great sound quality. I opted to get this as opposed to replacing my internal webcam. It was efficient, much less than a new internal webcam. The pictures and sound are great. I have no complaints.

Since the world went pretty much virtual after the pandemic hit, I really needed a good webcam that was inexpensive, good video and audio quality. When I first came across this webcam, I though that this probably wouldn't be a good webcam due to the fact it was priced on the low end. But I though what the heck, for the price I will give it a shot.Well I must say I am so glad I made this purchase! For me it was just plug in and go! No real set-up required. I have used this webcam on different virtual meeting platforms such as Skype, Teams, Zoom, and may more. I found the picture quality perfect for my meeting needs. I have not had any issues whatsoever with the audio as well. The little privacy cover that comes with it is very nice. So if you want an inexpensive webcam for your business needs, I highly recommend this product.
