You know I’ve gotten this and a couple of these before including this for reviewing and possibly making interviews on my videos. The main improvement between this and the older versions is size; it’s much easier to carry around! The older ones weren’t bad at all but this is definitely an appreciated upgrade.The downside is if you have a case, you’ll have to remove it because the transmitter won’t go in otherwise.This is also easy to set up. You put the transmitter in the jack then turn on the receivers which should have the microphones hooked on them(they can be hooked in by the 3.5 mm aux jack).Can’t really speak on mic quality too well yet because I havent tried it much. So far so good though.

It's very easy to configure Fedora 18 Linux to use this adapter: Simply select the device -- Generic USB Audio Device (Alsa mixer) -- from the Sound Preferences drop-down menu. No additional device-driver software is needed. Linux identifies this dongle as "ID 0d8c:000e C-Media Electronics, Inc. Audio Adapter (Planet UP-100, Genius G-Talk)". This device does not include any software CD. Windows 7 automatically locates and installs the necessary drivers. There are four control buttons: Volume Up and Down, and mutes for the microphone input and speaker output. Two status LEDs: microphone mute, and audio operation. Comes with a short USB extension cable.

Pro -Plug and play instantly with zero setup besides setting it on your monitor or desk. When it comes to the build in mic and also the picture quality it looks as good as it needs to for 1080p and the mic sounds solid for being built in. I would give the mic a 7/10.Con - the autofocus and auto lighting adjustments are pretty weak. When it comes to that it definitely struggles based on how well your lighting is. But if your in a bright room then it performs well.

Plug and Play!
This is a good web cam for home use, and the price is reasonable. It’s quite small and you just plug it in. My PC runs Windows 10, and it worked perfectly with no intervention. It doesn’t have a lens cover, so I keep it unplugged when not in use. The built-in microphone does a decent job; however, I prefer to use a headset. This requires an extra step to disable the camera microphone. Not a big deal.

Genau so sollte es sein. Deckel auf, Platte rein und ab geht`s. Wurde sofort erkannt, kein Formatieren oder so nötig. Eben Plug and Play...
