Great but...
The DJI Osmo Pocket is pretty nice. The video is nice and so is the picture quality for such a tiny camera. It’s easy to use and lightweight. I’m a freelance photojournalist and I bought this so I can shoot B roll discreetly. It’s also good as timelapse and motionlapse camera.Unfortunately I have a few gripes. First of all, the accessories have been slowly released. The 3.5mm adapter that allows for an external microphone still isn’t out yet even at the end of February 2019 about four months after release. I personally think this is a must because no other 3.5 mm jack works. Second the Osmo Pocket only works with certain phone cases. If you have a case like the Lifeproof Fre good luck trying to connect your phone to the Pocket. The case is too big. The provided connecting adapters are too short. You can rectify this by buying a new case or using an older phone (that the OS supports of course) to use as a monitor in conjunction with DJI Mimo app.All in all I think it has potential. I wouldn’t be surprised if DJI releases a pro version next year. I would have given it a five if my complaints were addressed already. Still a buy in my book.

Good quality, but missing pieces?
Hi guys, I purchased this, and it did NOT come with the type C cable nor the Lightning adaptor. I was about to order on for $40 then I’m reading this was supposed to come with one?! Please help DJI.

Nice but Issues with focus and mobile app
The media could not be loaded.
I've always been a fan of DJI and have used DJI's gimbals for many years. When DJI released the Action2, I wanted to buy one, but I gave up because of battery life issues. Before placing the order, I have seen many online reviews, especially the comparison with GoPro11, the overall feeling stability and battery cruising ability have been greatly enhanced, so I decided to order one. Shopping experience on Amazon is always good, even deliver a day earlier than expected delivery date! The packaging is very straightforward. In addition to the plastic protective film on the outer layer, like Apple products, it can be opened smoothly by simply tearing off a sticker. There are not a lots of accessories, just some basic ones, which are enough for me because I already have others.Like other DJI products, you can only use it a limited number of times unless you are connected to the DJI app. I already possess a number of DJI goods, so there is no need to download and fast activate again. The Pocket3's craftsmanship is excellent overall. Regarding waterproofing, I am incredibly relieved. Every setting is firmly bound. You do not require a separate waterproof case unless you intend to dive really deep. The front and rear touchscreens' brightness, colour, and response time are all excellent, in line with online reviews. In addition to being incredibly user-friendly, the menu design is simple to set up without consulting the handbook. One feature of the action camera that I appreciate is that it can record 4K 60p video. I can utilise this footage to create the effect I'm going for by combining it with my iPhone's 4K 60p video and using it as video from a different perspective. I was actually shocked by the result, which is that the 4K video produced by the Action3 does not even feel sharp. When compared to 4K footage taken on an iPhone, it is very obvious.Additionally, there is a clear focus issue. It is not sharp, whether it is a close or a far object. On a computer, it is quite obvious even though it might not be noticeable on a mobile device. Reduce from 4K to 2K or 1080P should be alright, but cropping to 2K doesn't really work. I did some research online and visited the Chinese DJI community, where I discovered that focusing is a common issue that can't be fully fixed by updating the firmware. I'm terribly disappointed by this. If there is a focusing issue, how can it pass QC?There is also a very unusual software issue, in which I can trigger the camera to record when I connect to Action3 using DJI MIMO, but I am unable to watch the footage stored on the device, and the download also takes a very long time with nothing. The solution is likewise quite odd, you must turn off the iPhone's cellular data connection for the downloaded video to begin playing normally. What I have to say is that the default file name for Action3, which is excessively long. Which software engineer came up with such an odd file name? dji_mimo_date_time_timestamp_13numbers_video.mp4Since I only use a few of Action3's fundamental features, such as 4K video and mobile app connection, there shouldn't be much of an issue with these features, special a product from DJI. Although it's difficult to determine whether these issues may be resolved by a firmware update, I believe that the focus is most likely a hardware issue. This is true even though I really enjoy a lot of the features and details, but paying $520 after tax still not worth it, hopefully DJI will address these issues in the next product release.Mine is returned.

Future tech, ahead several years
Picture quality is amazing, sometimes i neee to check it from which camera it is taken. It is difficult sometimes to remember weather i took the video from my high end mirrorless or osmo pocket. It is simply amazing for such a little price. The battery life is not good but looking at its size, dji has provided a future tech to its customers, ahead in years.
