Overall it is a decent action cam given its relative price compared to the action cam leader.The image quality is decent. The color is close enough given the price.The sound quality is decent, a little hollow sounding. Again for the price, it is not that bad. One annoyance is the beep for pressing the button to stop the recording. The beep can be heard in the video recordings. I looked at the setting to turn off the beep, but I did not find one.One nice feature this cam has over some of the other budget action cams is the screen on the front of the cam. This could be used for taking selfies, but not sure how many action selfies one takes.The camera does not come with a microSD card. The camera is useless without a microSD card. You will have to buy one separately. It uses a Class 10 Micro SDHC, 64GB maximum size. Installing the microSD card was fussy. Each time, it felt like I had to push the microSD card in rather deep for it to stay in.Importing the video & photos can be done via the USB cable, by removing the microSD card and installing it into a computer, or by using an iPhone or Android app. I was not thrilled with the iPhone app.It comes with two batteries, a USB charging cable, remote control, underwater enclosure, a handful of mounts, and other miscellaneous things. It does not come with an AC to USB power adapter.

I purchased a comparable action camera that didn’t have EIS. This camera is a breath of fresh air with the ability to shoot in 4K @30 fps with eis. I am planning a fishing trip and i am looking forward to seeing how it does.Update: I have enjoyed getting underwater action shots with the waterproof case. It is so durable and does the job well. My only complaint is the lack of support for larger microSD cards. Still a great product though.

Akaso V50X is my first action camera. It takes for awhile to figure out the right microSD and settings for the photos and videos but eventually is able to learn. I like to use this device to capture my outdoor escapades in hiking, gravel biking and nature unpredictable moments. I gave this a thumbs up.

My first action camera purchase and definitely happy I bought this. Quality is good and it takes terrific video. Comes with a bunch of accessories, mounts, two batteries and even a wristband remote control. Since this is the only action camera I've owned I can't compare it to other ones but it definitely does what I hoped it would and at this price is pretty incredible. I only needed to purchase a MicroSD card but even with the additional cost it's a great purchase.

Compact camera, easy to carro. It comes with 2 batteries and a microSD card which is awesome. The camera is very light and easy to use, takes good pictures!
