Easy setup with excellent sound. Made my old soundbar obsolete the moment I heard the Bose Solo 5!

I needed something to enhance the sound of my television and this really does the job. Very nice sound and I am trying get familiar with the settings to see what more I can do. When you compare it to the sound of the tv it's night and day. I'd have loved a smaller remote - this thing is ginormous. Wish I could use just my apple tv. It is a univeral remote, I know, and I will try to figure it out so that even though it's big, it's the only one that I will need. We shall see, it seems pretty complicated. Also they could have made it just a little bit louder, but it's not like I need it and I live in a condo anyway - not sure my neighbors would appreciate that.

The unit goes from a green light to an amber one when this feature (one button) is engaged, so you know right away that it is on.MUSIC: Good but not mind-blowing. Hey, this isn't going to replace your stereo. Some reviews complain about the lack of bass. I thought it was fine, and I had room to increase it more if I'd wanted.Minor complaints: VERY LARGE REMOTE: I wasn't looking for a universal remote to replace my current one. A small product-focused one would have been preferred. But, hard to misplace this one!NO VOLUME LEVEL DISPLAY: no way to know what level the sound is on but, really, is that necessary? Too soft? It’s Bose what can I even say? Easy as heck to hook up to my smart tv using the supplied optical cable and bought a cheap wall mount bracket setup here on amazon for $10. Had this hooked up in under ten minutes.Onto the sound quality:As an audiophile I didn’t know what to expect from just a sound bar. Let’s just say any expectations I could’ve had would’ve been exceeded by what this thing puts out. The audio quality is insanely clear, crisp and defined. The volume this can put out is HUGE and packs a punch far beyond the size it takes up.You can’t go wrong with this sound bar. Comparing to my Vizio I had is just laughable.
