DOES WHAT IT IS MEANT TO DO
I ordered this to use in my new camcorder. Very few electronics come with the cards needed these days. It works great. pictures and video are great quality as you can see by my pictures. I was very thankful to find this on sale here.

Excellent quality
I needed to upgrade a quiet comfort set I bought in 2006 and these guys are much better quality. I’m extremely pleased with the very long battery life and sound quality.

Highly recommend
Great product! My baby loves his sound machine! Sounds are very realist, unlike a lot of other sound machines. He sleeps with the thunderstorm every night. Some sounds are a bit too realistic (the ocean waves get very quiet then very loud.) I just do not use those for my baby, as an adult, however, it would not bother me if I was sleeping. Highly reccomend.

Whisper quiet, easy install.
East to install and whisper quiet compared to my last one which had been up for almost 20 years. Loving this one.

Great purchase! Don’t forget to purchase separately the rails and chain. I had professional installers to come in. Everything was there to do their job. Very quiet: highly recommend this product.

The adaptive feature is a bit of a joke
The adaptive feature is a bit of a joke, yes it definately responses to an increase in ambient noise levels, and raises it's own volume. This issue is it seems to only respond to mid range frequencies. (Human speech) I live near a busy street, and I was hoping this would respond to trucks driving by. Sure doesn't. The microphone opening is towards the front, and only responds to very loud disturbances, or someone talking.It's actually quite hilarious to have the adaptive feature on, with someone talking in the room. It slowly drowns them out.The 3.5mm speaker jack is quite nice, and the number of selections is great. I mostly appreciate the range in volume. This can be very quiet, to fairly loud. Which is a huge plus over my Marpac Dohm which is loud to very loud.

Does a very nice job
Our house is very quiet so any little noise will wake me up, and the faint noise of family members moving quietly downstairs catches my attention when I should be sleeping. This noise machine has a variety of sounds (waves, waterfalls, trains, etc.) that can fade into the background and yet mask the distracting noise. It's very easy to use so if I forget, I don't have to fully wake up or open my eyes to turn it on or turn up the volume. The sound doesn't have as much depth as say an mechanical fan (or probably an actual waterfall); it's a little flat, which I notice when it's very quiet.

My first Dohm Sleep Machine lasted a very long tim
The noise is quiet and soothing, at least from my perspective. I loved my first one, until it started rattling (after many, many years).
