So this is a cool lavalier mic for mobile users who have an aux jack. A lot of creators use their phones nowadays for YouTube and this is a more professional alternative to using your headphone mic or something like that. It comes with a neat little velvet drawstring case for it and two replacement pop filters. It also has an adapter to change inputs.

So here is the review that I think a lot of people are looking for. How does the 50mm f/1.8 REALLY work in a low light setting.My experience, this lens is epic. I bought it specifically for live event shooting and it was a pain in the butt searching all over the internet looking for reviews on this topic. So I am doing it for anyone else out there who was in the same boat as me.I LOVE THIS LENS FOR LIVE EVENT / INDOOR / NIGHT SHOOTING!I attached a photo I took of Ashley Monroe when she was in LA. This venue was pitch black, only lighting was shining down on stage. If you are going to shoot a live event with this lens I found for a super dark venue that f/3.5 was perfect. Then you can tweak the ISO settings and what not depending on what light you are dealing with.This photo I took while standing, I was in Manual shooting, my settings were F3.5 - my ISO at 1600.This lens does great in very very low light. It does a fantastic job at focusing and capturing the light as long as you are aiming your crosshairs right on your target and you are able to hold your breath long enough to fire off 2 or 3 photos before exhaling.If you bump it down to f/2 or f/1.8 you will need a tri pod. but even with a tri pod I don't think you would get great results in low light.Hope this helps someone out there!

I was looking up good budget lens and this was considered the best one. I ordered this last summer and i am obsessed! it makes the photos look so beautiful with the low f-stop. the auto focus is also fast and helpful. its great for travel because of the size.I definitely recommend this product. It is the ideal budget lens.

Love all the adapters, but really wish they would include a physical piece of paper with instructions on how to attach the pieces and how they are used. It’s annoying to have to assume you’ve installed the pieces correctly or assume you’re using them the intended way. Other than that, the products have held up so far.

I bought this because I wanted a smaller F stop than my standard lens would give. I have to say I love being able to get the smaller f stop. The blurred background really softens the photo. The auto-focus does take a bit a of time though and I am still learning to take pictures but I love this one so far.

The first one I ordered was faulty. Volume would cut in and out. I sent in for a replacement. They shipped out the second one, and I dropped off the return. I wanted to wait until the second pair came in before I reviewed and give them a good chance to make it right. The second pair work exactly as described! Perfect for what I need them for! Very happy customer!

I have had this fabulous lens for 2 months now. This is my second lens in Canon's line up of L lenses. I have a 70-200 f4 non-IS also. This is my first wide angle zoom L lens and i have come to know what i have been missing. Till now the widest lens i had was a 50mm f2.5 macro and 50 f1.8. Although on a 1.6x sensor like 20D which i own, this lens is not so wide it performs excellently. The focusing is very fast, sharp crisp images and consistent quality as the aperture range remains the same throughout the entire zoom. This may not be suitable for some the semi-pros or pros since its a little slow being f4, i would recommend this to anyone who does serious photography as a hobby. In indoors too it performs flawlessly. Most of the time i dont use a tripod and its difficult to maintain a fast enough shutter speed especially with aperture more than 8. so if you are like me, then you may want to take a look at the 17-85 IS or the 17-55 IS since the IS compensates atleast 2 stops in low light for hand holding. But if its outdoor then u can easily handhold this and shoot some great photos in good lighting conditions. Also i would like to mention that being a L lens this is a little heavy because of its solid construction. Its also big compared to the other startup lenses. It takes 77mm filters and it can be used even on full frame cameras like 5D. hope you enjoy this lens as much as i am doing.
