I used the Roxant Monocular on a trip to the Amazon(!) jungle in Ecuador. I purchased the monocular in lieu of a pair of binoculars, as I like to be as lean as possible. I intend to travel fairly extensively over the next few years, so I purchased it as a multi-purpose lens, but predominantly for distant wildlife.The product is super lightweight meaning, somewhat ironically, it feels like it might be of a cheaper build quality. But after using it extensively, I don't think this is the case. And when it comes to travel products, I'd say the lighter the better.I found it really useful for tracking birds and other animals in the tree tops. The case turned out to be really helpful, and the lens cloth was a nice touch.The hardest thing was trying to locate animals whilst looking through the lens, but this wasn't made more difficult by the product itself. It's just the nature of trying to spot animals at a distance (particularly in the jungle).Quite a few people on the trip wanted to borrow the monocular on a number of occasions, and commented on what a good idea it was.My only notable issue was the strap could use a sliding adjuster. But this can be easily swapped out for a different one.Recommended.

I am lucky enough to live on a lake in the midwest where we see all 4 seasons greet us every year. With the season's come new plant life as well as mating wildlife. I bought a good set of binoculars but when a pair of beavers moved in a few hundred yards away I knew I needed something stronger so I started a telescope search. It's my first one so I searched tips on what to look for. This one I chose is exactly what I was looking for. Its light to carry outside. It can be used as a tabletop as it has telescoping legs making it extremely useful to leave it setup in front of the window. Multiple strength easily removable eyepieces are a huge plus as it makes it much easier to control the distance of what your viewing. All the containers and covers are very well made to keep things clean. A huge bonus is a bracket to mount your camera phone to the eyepiece to take wonderful shots from various distances. This telescope has been a blast to use watching the wildlife and I cant wait to try the stars and moon in the night sky !
