Variable Neutral Density filter works great on Digital camera
The filter will help in removing reflections of water or shiny surfaces, plus the ability to help with the exposer times for various picture effects. Screws on the end of your lens like a UV filter and has an easy to turn the metal ring to adjust the amount of neutral density from a little to a lot, so can be left on the lens as protection. the product is well made and should provide years of service.

Basic but great lens
My communications director wanted to try this lens to see if it would take good pics at meetings; it is awesome. Took a pic of an African violet in my office with the lights off, just some light from the doorway in the room. Looks like daylight. Captures a lot of light and really makes it easy to take quick photos since lighting is not as big an issue as the old big kit lens.

In love w this lens!
Omg this lens is perfect! Absolutely love it! It takes gorgeous pics and I feel it’s pretty easy to use. Turns out many of my photographer friends use this lens and that it’s their fave lens and always a go to. I’ve done a little practicing and already happy. Can’t wait to do my first session using it! For the price, you can’t beat it! Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys taking pics or who wants to take great looking portrait pics of their kids or family!

Brilliant Portrait Lens
Bought this “nifty 50” because it’s reccomended as the first lens to own when you expand beyond your kit lenses. It’s definitely a great lens for an incredible price! One of the things I love most about it is that it’s a prime lens, meaning I had to learn to position myself better for a shot, instead of using a zoom. This is huge for creativity and learning. The lens itself is great. Sharp, clear images every time. It does take a little while to learn what settings worn best to achieve those results, but once you figure it out it’s amzing. The lens is super lightweight and compact as well so you can easily throw it in a bag or even a jacket pocket to take with you. Would definitely recommend it.

Great lens for on-the-go
This is what was expected from Canon, a high quality lens that does what it is suppose to do. There are many other vendors you can choose from, but these guys were really good! The turn around time was very quick, and my lens was packed to ensure absolutely no damage could occur to the product.I wish I could speak more in terms of quality, but I’ll let this portrait of my puppy do the talking.
