I use this for Xbox One. I have an Xbox One X and this worked right out of the box. The Xbox had a few prompts to set it up. It runs very fast. It transfers about 1GB in 10 seconds from the main HHD to it. I play my games off the external drive now and my load times now are limited to cutscenes you cant skip, or significantly less. My Final Fantasy 15 save loads in 23 seconds instead of nearly 3 minutes.Borderlands 3 takes about 40 seconds after the main screen. The long initial load with the bar is about a minute now.Fallout 4 loads Sanctuary in about 24 seconds, as well as Skyrim loading Whiterun in the same.

Love the convenience. The water tank could be bigger but for the price it was worth it.

Fast!!!
Time Machine backups are going really fast. Using this 1TB drive to backup 512MB disk. Historically that has been sufficient for my use.

I use this to backup files on my desktop computer and with the USB 3.0 it is really fast. Honestly, I wasn't expecting such performance for the money. Happy camper.
