Amazing lamp! Even better than I expected, I might even buy another one.

This review is for LAMPAT Dimmable LED Desk Lamp, 4 Lighting Modes (Reading/Studying/Relaxation/Bedtime), 5-Level Dimmer, Touch-Sensitive Control Panel, 1-Hour Auto Timer, 5V/1A USB Charging Port, Piano Black from YYGIFT.Wow, I am so impressed with this lamp. I'm not sure I've ever had a lamp that I like as much as I like this one :). And I'm not sure you're even supposed to be as thrilled with a lamp as I am with this amazing lamp lol :). It does so many really great things.The lamp is about 17" tall, then has an arm that extends out over my work area about 13". It has SO many LED lights filling that 13" arm (27 if I counted them correctly). At it's brightest setting you can just imagine how bright the light is!! This lamp has 4 lighting modes: sleep, relax, study, and reading. These seem to range from gentle golden light to bright white light. There are 5 levels of brightness in every mode. You will be amazed by the level of customization you can achieve with these kinds of very flexible settings.I have never had a lamp that I could customize to such a degree. Not only is the LED light customizable, but the stand itself is very flexible. It swivels to the left and to the right 180 degrees at the base. A few inches above the base, just above the control panel, it pivots forward 40 degrees. Then at the very top, the 13" arm pivots 140 degrees. There is just really no end to the combinations of lighting effects you can achieve with this lamp.In addition to all of this, it has a USB charging port for your smart devices, something we can all use no matter where we use this lamp. What a great feature!I highly, HIGHLY recommend this desk lamp. I am surprised by how much more I enjoy my desk and computer area using this high-quality light. Great lamp, multiple settings quite nice for various purposes.

AWESOME!best lamp ever - no wonder it has such good reviews.The arm is flexible and allows you to put it in many diffent positions. The 4 different color settings are great for finding how much light you need in the room. Also, you can increase and decrease the intensity at each of these 4 settings. It also doubles as a great night light if you choose the sleep mode and then fold the arm in on itself.The USB port is awesome because you can charge your cellphone on it.I will be purchasing more in the future for my other rooms!

I have tested quite a few LED lights and this unit from Lampat can stand with the best of them. It has some unique features I do not have in other units I've worked with. There is a circular piece that screws from the bottom of the substantial base to the riser/arm. The top section rotates. The color temperature variations make it perfect for everything from reading to applying makeup. And you can dim or brighten the individual color selections. I haven't used the timer on it yet, it's just to the left of the spot you turn the lamp on/off with. It's sleek, well designed and very capable. This is one heck of an interesting lamp - I've never worked with one like this so I've been doing a little homework to understand the lighting that they use, and the reasoning for the different settings.So it seems that the 4 settings (Sleep, Relax, Study, and Reading) are different points in the "White Balance" Spectrum. The light head has 18 LED Bulbs that seem to be closest to "Daylight" and then 9 more LED Bulbs that are more yellow, like the "Soft White" type of bulbs that we use in our homes. Each setting uses a different combination of these bulbs to achieve a different lighting effect. In addition, you can raise and lower the brightness within each setting, making this a very flexible lamb which could be useful for many situations.It says on the box that the "Color Temperature" is from 2500-7000k. 5000k is meant to be most like daylight. The numbers below are what is quoted on the box for the Temperature at each setting.The SLEEP setting is the most "yellowish" ... it only uses the center (Yellow) bulbs... at it's lowest setting it is more than a night light but low enough in intensity to not be too disturbing to anyone who is trying to sleep. Also with the ability to focus the light away from you, the main light can be relatively focused on one area. This could be a great setting for anyone with new baby who needs light to change and feed the child without it being too disturbing to sleeping partners or so bright it totally wakes the baby up. This light is around 2,500-3,500k in the color temperature scale and it's VERY yellow.RELAX mode adds in the 18 white light bulbs while keeping the yellow lights on. The lowest setting is a lot brighter than the lowest sleep setting but not obnoxiously so. This setting is in the 4,300-5,300k color temperature level.STUDY seems to be the most like regular daylight.... the 18 white LED's are very bright and the light is much more "blue-ish".... I wonder if they are trying to mimic the S.A.D. lights with this one as they are on the blue end of the spectrum, but whether this is powerful enough to have any effect on S.A.D. would be questionable. This setting is 6-7000k on the spectrum.READING mode seems to lower the intensity of the white LED's .... perhaps to reduce glare and make it easier on the eyes. This setting is around 4,300-5,300 on the spectrum and should thus be the closest to daylight.I also like that the arm can be adjusted though I wish that the "upright" arm could also pitch backwards ... as it is, this light is best IMO for anyone who is working at a table/desk where you can have the base at a distance from you, and use the arms to raise/lower how close the light is to your work. I could see this would be a great light for anyone who knits, crochets, does needlework, etc. Not sure if the light would work for drawing anything other than perhaps charcoal drawings, and of course, it would be useful for a student, especially college students where one may be studying while their roomie sleeps.Finally, two other great features are the timer (which will turn the light off after an hour) and the USB port which is awesome for those of us who keep our phones/tablets with us at all times, lol. All in all, this is a really cool and innovative light that I am looking forward to using in my office.I did receive this for a discounted price for a fair and honest review... however, I try to work with items I need so I can give them a real trial, and thus my opinions and experiences are a real and true reflection of my experience with the product. I hope my review helps you in your purchase decisions!

Very bright. Overall I'm satisfied but note that the unit is much smaller and lighter than pictured.

Perfect for bead making & other craft activities. Requires little space. Puts light directly where you need.
