Decent tripod. Good price.
I've only used my tripod during one outing and had no problem once I got accustomed to the differences between it and my old one. Used a Nikon D7200 with a Tamron 140-600 mm lens with no problem capturing herons and butterflies even in flight. Not normally a tripod user but it did work quite well and appears sturdy. The quick release not as quick as my former tripod as it's screw to tighten as opposed to a lever but it does appear to hold the camera much tighter and I was always concerned with accidental movement of lever with the old one. Probably not the best person to recommend tripods as I rarely use them but found it quite versatile and appears of decent quality and durability which only time can attest to.

Unboxing video - Product is great for beginners!
The media could not be loaded.

I ordered this kit to start studio portrait photography as well as to use for my youtube video filming. This is a medium quality semi - professional lighting kit. Its great for beginners to experiment and start studio portrait photography. I have posted an unboxing video for this product which shows you how exactly you will receive this product. It is a strong build, the tripods are metal and are very sturdy. It comes with 3 600w white light CFL bulbs which can fill in the shadows moderately. The light is bright enough to be used in a small studio/room space. Also, please check out my youtube channel (New york elite picture) for a complete review video.

A feature filled tripod at a great price!
This tripod is full of features that are present on much more expensive tripods. A removable shoe, which at first seemed a bit large, but it allows my camera to sit balanced on it above the surface that it's sitting on when not on the tripod. It's amazing that they can even manufacture and sell a tripod for under $25 that has everything you need including bubble levels, a removable shoe, nice handles and knobs, flexible feet at the bottom, a crank handle that will raise and lower the center post, and a hook below the post for a counterweight. Unless you are professional making money with your camera and can easily afford a more expensive tripod I would highly recommend this one for any recreational photographer.

Incredible amount of light from these, great for p
I bought these on Prime Day to use for my tabletop photography setup as fill light for eliminating shadows on small items. With my overhead camera rig and appropriate exposure settings, I'm able to quickly turn around photos with less editing work; more light makes things much easier!I like that I can take them out and about & use a portable battery pack as well. That will come in very handy when using them at trade shows. The included tripods are extremely flimsy, but that's to be expected on a sub $50 product. I will probably just use the lights themselves & ball heads with grabbers or super clamps when doing macro shots.

The best travel mini tripod period
Over the years I have used several tripods and this one is simply beautiful looking and stable enough for pretty much any DSLR.Clearly it’s a very short tripod however it’s a solid base and if highly it’s not needed this does the job wonderfully.I have also purchased the additional central column extension, let’s say that that adds highly however adds some degree of instability. If everything gets well balanced the central column is a somewhat usable. The legs lock into place very solidly, not movement whatsoever, also the knobs have a very nice rubberized texture so they are easy to grip and twist.Basically the best compact tripod around.

I am a professional photographer not a videographe
This is my 1st ever video tripod I ever bought other than the cheap normal dslr tripods that can hold phone as well. So far it never gave me any trouble. Easy to use. So glad that it comes with a good carrying case as well. So great full for the allenkey(hex key) that comes with it to tight the 1/4” thread.Tilting and panning works smoothly and flawlessly for me. Never had any issues. I mostly use it to record church music videos and personal use. So far this is more than enough for me.For a professional videographer this might help as well but I prefer them having little high end long lasting products.

Not bad for the price.
I have had several of these tripods that I mostly use for filming outdoors on the weekends. I tend to have to replace them after a couple months of use because the mounting point for the legs tend to break. They would probably work well for indoor use where you're not carrying them all over the countryside. The Good:They are light and easy to move around and are stable. The Bad:They don't last more than a couple months before one of the legs breaks, usually at the top mounting point. I've also had the rivets come out where it attaches to the center fairly often but that's easy enough to fix with a bit of wire.

Small and Compact for Portability
This is a perfectly serviceable tripod for those who are on a budget and need something light to take on their travels, without worrying whether it'll be stolen or lost, etc. It stands about 4.2 ft, so is on par in height with average tripods. The quality is pretty solid, although I'd suggest to UBeesize to strengthen the legs and locks a little more - as they are, they're a little wobbly and pulling on the legs can overcome the locks ever sooooo slightly.Since this is a compact tripod, expect all the controls to be just as small - all knobs and flaps can be a challenge for carpal tunnel or arthritis sufferers, so just know what you're getting into. All said though, this thing gives you a lot for sub $30.

Sturdy little thing
I thought cell phone tripods were crap. I've had several that have broken, refused to stand up straight, been so light that every bump of the table or wind gust would make them shake. Then I bought this baby and I will never need another one! It's sturdy, extends so you can stand or sit while you film, even comes with a remote to take pics instead of having to set your timer! I like that the part that holds the camera screws open and closed instead of using a spring to stretch open. It feels much more secure. Very well made and worth the money.
