Can't beat the price for what you get
Very happy with this variable ND filter. Solid build. People complain about seeing the "X" just don't turn it past max!great as a starter if this is your first variable ND filter.

Best deal
Better than the Peter McKinnon variable ND for the price. Amazing quality and they work very well. I'm super satisfied with the purchase

An Excellent Product
I bought the 58mm NDHD1000 thinking it was a variable filter like the default search result ND2-ND400 but it turns out to be fixed at 10 stop. I've tested it on an over cast day between 1 to 15 seconds exposure and between f/8-f/10 aperture and the result was perfect. The image was tack sharp and as colorful and the tone is lifelike so I'm glad I made the mistake. If I can take a 1 second exposure photo at f/10, then waterfall, ocean waves, and other movement I want to photograph is perfect so I will keep my filter.

Great Value and Quality
This filter is great value for the quality and build. Works well between MIN and just before the MAX settings. Add 1 stop exp. comp. to get best results at around the MAX settings. Past MAX you get 'X' cross effect. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for variable ND filter. Plus you get to help the planet and plant some trees. Its a win-win :-)

Great variable filter
Very happy with this filter after reviewing all the reviews and other variable ND products.A lot of purchasers mention the dreaded X when using this. Only used a few times during a fairly sunny day but not an issue for me, just don't use it at the maximum value and shouldn't be a problem.

Works brilliantly
First variable ND filter purchased (all others I have had have been static) and what a difference it makes! So easy to move around, and not having to carry more than one per lens is a real space-saver in the bag!I've experienced no false colour or the infamous X on any images (although I don't use this all the way closed!)Comparing it to a friends premium ND (I won't mention the brand), I could not see a difference at all in image quality. However, the premium ND was a bit stiffer to move around, so it felt like it would stay exactly where left. The K&F one does feel like it may loosen up over time, although this hasn't happened yet a few months in!

Good 10-stop ND filter at fair price
The filter reduces light by a factor of 1,000, or 10 f-stops (2^10 is actually a factor of 1,024, but the difference is negligible), useful for making flowing water look silky smooth, blurring traffic in a street scene, or eliminating moving people from a busy street. Pictures made with it are sharp and there is no unsirable color tint or density variation (unlike those with a variable-ND filter I'd tried, which blurred the image at high ND settings and had uneven absorption across its area). The metal ring is thin, making storage in a filter stack easier, but threaded to allow additional filters. Though it costs a bit more than other filters I've purchased through Amazon, I've no complaint about image quality.

All work like a charm
All work like a charm. However the variable ND tends to be slightly uneven, in my case turning the left upper side a bit dark
