I keep a stash of these around for my various Raspberry Pi (B+/2B/3B/3B+) projects, as well as for my other single-board computers (ODRoid XU4, ODRoid C2, Orange Pi, BeagleBone). They've always worked great for me.

Works perfectly with Raspberry Pi NAS
This thing plugged right in to my Raspberry Pi 3B and worked immediately. I plugged it into a windows machine to quickly transfer some files, then plugged it back into the Pi. I got the 2TB model and already filled up half of it. Using the Pi as an NFS server, I was able to transfer 700+ pictures over the network and store them all on this drive. Very pleased with it so far. Will likely buy more for other projects

It works!
I use it to convert HDMI from a Raspberry Pi for use on an older, VGA only, 5:4 aspect monitor. I had to set the config.txt file appropriately (group=2, mode=35 in my case) and that was it. Used the included micro B cable to get additional power from a port on the Pi as indicated and was happy to discover that the audio was correctly output to the line out on the adapter.

Love it. I bought this to connect my raspberry pi 3b+ board to a VGA monitor and it works like a charm.

Works great on a Raspberry Pi 2B under Raspbian
Works great on a Raspberry Pi 2B under Raspbian. No complaints. I like that it has a small pigtail for the USB lead, makes putting it in a project box with the Raspberri Pi very easy.

I bought this for my Rasberry Pi 3B single board .
I bought this for my Rasberry Pi 3B single board computer and I was surprised that it functioned simply by plugging it in. I did not even have to adjust the configuration or anything! Yea!

Raspberry PI compatible
Worked perfectly to hook a Raspberry Pi 3B to an old VGA monitor. The external power and audio out jack simplified the setup as well.
