This camera is great! Great stability and picture. Battery could be better. It doesn’t seem to last as long as my other camera. Super easy to use. I would definitely buy another one.

 Allow me to start off by making note that I fully understand that at this price point, you're obviously not likely to get a stellar quality camera that is right there with the best of the best and well established, and, that admittedly, I am new to this camera, and the video linked is using default settings, just with distortion prevention, gyroscope and stabilization turned on for it.That said today I went out and tested it out with a handful of clips I filmed, and though the graininess is mostly absent, there is still quality issues I am not too appreciative of. I feel that with 2K60fps, it should look far better than what you see in the video, and, clearly it was not lacking of light, nor was it excessive with it either.In the clips I tested with 1080p90, 1080p60 and 4K30, the quality of the clips never really made any real improvements at all. Still all looked about the same.-The battery charging is rapid, the time it takes to drain it clearly is quite a bit more than I thought it'd be, but also seems likely that if you're making a lot of videos and need a lot of footage from these, you'll need yourself at least a backup battery just in case (which this does come with).-The image transferring is straight forward, simple and very easy.-The screen is relatively responsive, though it definitely could use some improvements.-The UI is simple and easy to navigate.-The MicroSD slot on my camera out of the box would not allow the card to snap into place. For the record, I purchased the exact MicroSD Akaso recommended for me. In order to get it to snap into place, and thus in order to take it out, clearly, I need to go old school and use my mailbox key to get it to click into place, as well as remove it. That's not a deal breaker, but it's definitely not something I see as a good sign of quality control.-Also, the camera seems like it's structure is built with malleable material that is pieced together in a modular fashion, which does not bode well for it taking much of a fall or shock, which is rather counter-intuitive for action cams. The reason I say this is because while I was out recording the test clips today, I noticed that somehow, the cam's body managed to begin a slight separation from another piece of it. But I noticed how it was kind of bent almost like a rubber/plastic composite, so I lightly applied some pressure with a single finger, and it clicked right back into place.-The waterproof case for me in my test today worked as intended, no leaks, no seepage. I did however only stick it about 3" under the surface of the water, but I did so again, just to be sure the case would leak.I purchased this camera with the intent to make YouTube videos (Trip Reports/Transit Experiences and Outdoors Videos, namely fishing and possibly some cinematic/scenery), but now I am curious if I perhaps should consider returning it if I can receive a full refund and spend a little extra money on a better quality cam. If I decide to keep this one, and make it work, I may later return with a new updated review.I gave this review 4 stars, first because as I mentioned in the beginning of this detailed review, realistically, for the most part there is not much more you are likely to expect from a camera of this price range. The second reason is because there is no "and a half" ratings on Amazon. If there was such a thing, I would have rated it 3.5 stars, because that's the true rating I have for this camera thus far. And if it was a thing, well, this little paragraph wouldn't even exist! haha.I am hoping Akaso is able to improve their product, and if they have any way to improve my experience with this camera, that they will be happy to reach out to me and help me with it. There's nothing I love more than being able to highly recommend knock-off/competitor companies to the big dogs, in this case, GoPro, who sell nearly the same if not same quality products for far lower prices. But at the moment, I simply cannot do that as I'd be lying to people who desire truly honest, unfiltered reviews like this that I wish to give.

I am an outdoor enthusiast. I constantly use this camera when fishing off the coast, hunting in the swamps or playing on the lake tubing, and wakeboarding with the family. I purchased 2 cameras about 4 years ago and out of neglect on my part the underwater case developed a leak. We were scuba diving in the Keys this past summer so the saltwater knocked both out. For the price of these cameras, I was more than happy to go right out and purchase another one. I'm sure GoPro has some advantages over these, but my brother ruined his GoPro so he's debating dropping another $600+. No Thanks! No Debate for me!

This camera can’t beat for the price! It takes really nice pictures and sending video. I use it on my motorcycle and the image stabilization is fantastic. Sometimes the remote didn’t work like I want but overall not bad.

This was a perfect camera for the price. We film most of our video in 60 fps at the lower quality, and the pic is amazing. There are a ton of extras with this camera and we have been extremely happy with it so far.The only downside is the audio is not the highest quality, but everything else is spot on.

Just love this Camera. Used it on our Boat. Worked great.

Only had the camera a day or so, but the videos I have taken I am pleased with. The quality is great and was easy to get going. Its great that it comes with 2 batteries and several accessories.My only grip would be the quality of sound when recording.
