This tripod is AMAZING. I have a hiking camera bag I carry onto planes whenever I travel and this tripod is strapped to the outside of my bag--It has always fit in the overhead bins on both Delta, KLM, and United. The tripod is super sturdy and secure. I put a canon 5d Mk III on it with a 35 mm lens and it holds it just fine--nothing but great things to say about this tripod, it is 150% worth the price.
