Look you can go spend money on a Go Pro. To me it is just a brand, you know how many other action cameras there are? Mine works amazing, I constantly use 1080p at 60 fps. I could go 4k or 720p. The higher the definition the more memory you use and the more power is drained. I got a 64gb memory, and I can record about 6 hrs or more. You multiple modes you can use. I Bought this san disk 64 gb micro sd, black pro basic outdoor sports kit and more 1050mAh rechargeable batteries. That is more memory, more battery life which you can just take our and switch with another, and have more cases and mounts. I think all of that equals to the basic cost of a standard Go Pro. Get this and the other stuff I mention and you are set. One draw back I would say, because nothing is too perfect. The battery life can be around 40 mins, but like I said I use 1080p 60 fps. That's why I bought more separately. But it comes with 2 of them, so depending on how much you want to record. Also the pictures give you a option of definition and the 4k pics I took weren't too amazing. For the price this is not bad, I would recommend to a friend. Only question you need to ask yourself is, how much do I want to record? how long would I use it for? where could I use this at? It all depend on how and what you will use it for.

 I have had the camera for two days. I spent one day learning how to use it and figuring out how to mount it to my metal detector. I will shoot video as I am searching and want to show the screen of my detector and let the viewer hear the sound of the detector and my voice commenting as I go. In the picture the included microphone is mounted to the right of the camera and is mid way between the control box and my mouth as I detect. the video is the result. I think the quality of the sound is acceptable and the video quality meets my expectations. The speaker is below the control box and I am standing and swinging the detector. So far I am happy with the purchase. It took me a few hours to figure out the camera menus and features. In the write up it says you can change the angle of the camera view with the control. I don't see any menu that does that. The battery ran out on me much faster than I had hoped. You will need spares.I sent a question to ask if it was OK to use 1350 mAh batteries to replace the 1050 that comes with it. I got an email telling me sometimes difficult questions don't get an answer. I did more research and Surfola sells 1350 mAh batteries with a charger and it lists this camera as a direct replacement option. So I will answer the difficult question. You can upgrade the battery. I won't guess why they didn't want to answer when they make it and list it as an option for this camera.

I love my camera!! Very user friendly and the quality of the video and pictures are amazing. I cannot wait to use this camera on my upcoming cruise. Highly recommend!!

I bought this for my 11 year nephew's birthday and he loved it! Army blue was his favorite! Now if we could just get a memory card...he could actually use it!

gave it to her for christmas, she lives in Hawaii and need a better camera to capture the beautiful waterfalls and mountains in hawaii. Great buy! I also bought the warranty just incase.

I love my GoPros but the battery life isn’t the best. Picture is great and weight is very low.I recommend gopro but go for the newer model.

My son took his new water resistant camera out in the snow yesterday & caught some amazing pictures…He can’t wait for the summer to put it on his bike & get some action shots.. He loves this camera !! He takes it with him everywhere he goes … He is the new family photographer… The battery lasts all day and has never been an issue..
