I need to use my old VGA monitor with Firestick TV, so I bought this HDMI to VGA converter.Installation was easy, plugged HDMI to Firestick and VGA port to monitor.Then hooked the Mini USB to USB power.Everything works right away, now I can watch all my favorite channels on my old monitor !

Now I can tell Alexa to turn on/off the tv and change the channels. How cool is that!? It works!

Everything is great except a second remote is required to adjust the volume. We were unable to consolidate to one controller for turning on the TV, changing channels and adjusting the volume.

So we love this. It is simple and works for our fun “dance parties” with our toddler. BUT our real TV remote works with it. So when changing channels on the TV it will go on and off and change settings.

Needed a hub for Alexa to control a smart TV. Hubs works fine with Alexa to control Tv. Turns on/off, adjust volume, and changes channels from voice command through Alexa. The only problem with this unit is it came only with one mini IR cable blaster. Had to purchase an additional cable (mini blaster) to allow Alexa to turn on/off TV without having to leave door on TV Cabinet open. Would have been desirable if manufacture had provided two cables instead of one. Beware you may need two mini blaster cables if TV equipment is enclosed in cabinet.Would have rated 5 stars if second cable had been included.

Having a little problem interrogating with TV channels other than that it’s been great

Initially, I was unsure if I had to also buy the expensive Logitech Hand-held controller ("Harmony Elite") with this Hub to have the Echo Dot 2 control my TV Channels. I took a chance and just ordered this Hub and that was all I needed. I bought this primarily to control the TV and other AV equipment and it works fine with the Echo Dot 2. It does have a limit of (50) TV channels that I can program for voice control, but that was plenty for me as my favorites. I do have a Tivo Premier in this mix and the Logitech setup did a great job of asking about my local Cable provider (Xfinity), the local office where my programming is generated, etc. It then populated the online setup with every Cable Channel that we subscribe to. From there, all I had to do was select the channels that I wanted to control with voice. The setup also allowed me to change the names (that Alexa would respond to) to my own preferences (key words). This thing is pretty slick...
